Quash went out of the arena and arrived at the reception to take his name off of the Active List of the 2nd Battle Hall.

He planned to rest for the night. After a long period of dog fight, he was feeling very itchy. He hadn’t practically sweated, but his 11 year long streak of showering was broken. For 11 years, he hadn’t missed a single day...

Realisation struck him like a thunder bolt as he made his way towards exit. A sense of urgency filled his heart. He quickly wanted to go to the Inn and take a quick bath to save his 11 year long streak!

But before that, he needed to prepare himself for the crowd he is about to face outside. Quash trached his fingers around his neck and pulled out a necklace.

It looked like a with a big, shiny diamond hanging on it, but it was a camouflage artifact that could copy a person’s looks and make the wearer appear, sound and feel like the person whose looks were copied. It was a Rare Grade one so no way Quash could afford it.

He borrowed it from Gagon instead. When Quash had asked him, he have it without a second thought. Quash also took it without a second thought.

And after a long while, long while, he once again felt that the novels in his previous life lied. This world was cruel, but he did not feel sentimental when he was trusted so much.

He couldn’t help but condemn them for deceiving people into thinking their written world is cruel by over romentesizing small kindness.

In place of Quash, there was someone else. He had black hair and black eyes. Bulky build above average face.

Quash has taken the disguise of a guy he had fought when he first came to the 2nd Battle Hall. The reason he chose this guy to copy this looks was because the guy was 6 ft tall, perfectly matched his height after he grew back that 1 cm he had shrunken before.

Andother reason was because this guy was very ignorable. And Quash didn’t plan to use this look for long anyway. He will go straight to Gagon after he crossed the wall of paparazzi.

The receptionist behind Quash raised an eye brows but didn’t say anything. Copying someone’s looks was crime but it wasn’t one if no one reported it. And she wouldn’t because that wasn’t her job. And she didn’t want want mess with a Rising star. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

So she threw away whatever memory she captured into the trash.

Quash knew what was goign through the receptionists head and because he knew, that he dare to use such artifact in front of a staff instead of going to some secluded place.

But regardless of that, Quash asked out of the Battle Hall. The moment he stepped out, countless lights flashed for a moment before abruptly stopping. Quash was affected with blindness for a moment before it started to clear from the next second.

He rubbed his eyes then looked at the sea of paparazzi, news anchors, influencers and many more. They were all waiting for Quash Ogmore to come out since they got news that he had left the arena. The were very excited since this will be his first public appearance and who ever managed to post the pics fastest, hoards massive money.

But instead of Quash, out came someone who is ranked among the last of the 2nd Battle Hall.

They looked among themselves confused. Wondering if Quash went to the washroom. Fearing that was the case, they felt a bit down but the anticipation tose even more. Their hands sweating from tension.

The "everyday normal guy" made his way through the sea of people with great difficulty. People were unwillingness to pave way but they couldn’t stay in place when lightly pushed way by the "everyday normal guy".

They once again realised the ones they were hunting for photos were the real predators. Even if they are barely half their age.

The "everyday normal guy" successfully passed by and went his way while people quickly forgot about him and waited for the real star to appear.

Else where, in a fairly secluded ally, the "everyday normal guy" smile, then clinched the cloth near his chest. Light shone and he transformed into Quash Ogmore!

After turning back, Quash made his way to the southern section of the Plaza. Before his match had started, he had messged Gagon that he will be coming to give the artifact back. Which he just replied with...

...Gayest thing ever. He knew that the Dwarf probably just typed like, and spammed the emoji suggestion, but still, this is very gay.

In no time(very long time) Quash arrived in the southern sector. The temperature here was noticeably higher than the whole Plaza. Mainly because most of the Dwarfs or craftsmen who worked with fire and heat lived here.

And because of this environment was very much liking to the Dwarves, they lived here and the Dwarves that came here for admission also lived here temporarily.

That is why, this sector is called Dwarven sector. It was night, and because of that, the when looked above the houses, it seemed like there was fire burning somewhere. If not for the constant hammering going on, new people really will thing there was fire.

The streets were empty. Everyone was either working or glued to the TV, watching the live matches. There was no censorship because everyone knew that students tearing each other apart was not real. They treated it like a gory movie to keep sane. But he doubted anyone care enough to not enjoy this.

As Quash was thinking about random stuff, he reached the Inn Gagon was staying in.
