I Carry a Game World With Me

Lu Feng didn’t know how many zombies were in Celestial Sea City. Before the apocalypse, the city had a population of nearly ten million, and the vast majority had turned into zombies, hiding throughout the city.

The slightest sound or movement would attract these zombies, causing them to slowly shamble over. Even the sound of thunder could stir them.

That was why zombies often ended up wandering near Survivor Bases.

Lu Feng arrived at the entrance of Zhuangyuan District. He glanced at the few freshly killed zombies, then surveyed the base’s perimeter. He turned to Lin Jiao and ordered, "Lin Jiao, I want you to dig a trench around the district, leaving only a single path for access. That way, any zombies that show up will fall right in."

’In that American TV show, *The Walking Dead*, the main characters secured their base by using sound to lure over a hundred thousand zombies into a massive natural pit.’

’If they could do it, so could I. I can have someone dig a large pit, or just find a location that can contain a lot of zombies.’

’Then, I can bring in some gasoline from the real world and burn the entire zombie horde.’

’It reminded him of an old MMO he used to play, where burning through mobs as a Mage was a primary strategy.’

’The only issue is that getting large quantities of gasoline in the real world would be a hassle. But there’s no other choice, since all the cars in the game world have been replaced by hovercars.’

’Naturally, the gas stations that depended on cars for business no longer existed either.’

’It’s not that gasoline has vanished completely, but finding it in the game’s cities is now even more difficult than in the real world.’

’Still, the plan to farm experience by burning zombies would have to wait until Lin Jiao’s people found a large zombie gathering point.’

People are funny that way. Once you find a way to make sense of your situation, your whole perspective can change.

After giving Lin Jiao her instructions, Lu Feng logged out of the game and dialed Yang Ming’s number. The moment the call connected, he said, "Cousin, I have a job for you. Come over to my villa."

’If the base in the game was going to take in more survivors, their food supply would become an issue. He needed more grain. He might even need to buy some young chickens, ducks, pigs, and sheep to bring into the game for the survivors to raise.’

’But on second thought, that might not work. The animals couldn’t be controlled. If they raised them in large numbers, the noise might attract Mutant Beasts, who would surely enjoy a feast.’

A Tea Master was at each table, preparing tea for the guests.

Naturally, the men couldn’t resist teasing the Tea Masters and telling a few dirty jokes.

Faced with crude jokes—like comments about how "big" certain parts of them were—most women would have been mortified and thrown a cup of tea in the man’s face.

But these Tea Masters could clearly take it in stride. Instead of getting angry, they’d engage in some flirtatious banter, retorting, "Well, sir, do you prefer them bigger or smaller?"

This kind of flirtatious wordplay was something the lecherous old men couldn’t resist. They’d obediently buy some tea and inevitably ask for the Tea Master’s number.

After the young Tea Master flirted a little more, these men would become repeat customers.

As for the wealthy patrons, if they transferred money to the girl every day, some... other activities after tea time weren’t out of the question.

The Tea City didn’t prohibit this, of course, as long as those other activities didn’t take place on the premises.

These were the guests looking for a bit of entertainment. Customers there to discuss business were mostly in the private rooms. They would brew their own tea during their meetings and only call for a Tea Master once their discussions were finished.

When Xiaoyao saw Lu Feng arrive, she immediately came forward to greet him. "President Lu, Master Kai is already waiting in the Venerable Hall upstairs."
