The sixth round of the trial arrived as expected,

The vast majority of candidates had already been eliminated, so their rankings were now fixed, appearing on the display connected to the Celestial Gaze Mirror.

However, there were still over forty students whose rankings were in flux,

though the fluctuations were minuscule.

But no matter how much they changed,

the name at the very top of the rankings remained unchanged, firmly holding the number one spot.

That name was none other than Zhang Yi!

Fifty Elephant Clan Warriors emerged from the Teleportation Gate.

A final light flickered in their murky eyes,

and their rough wooden clubs carved deep furrows in the ground as they dragged behind them.

Seeing the Elephant Clan Warriors step into firing range,

"Fire!" Feiyana shouted, raising her Long Sword high.

A rain of arrows poured down but barely pierced the Elephant Clan’s bark-like hides.

Even in their old age,

the skin that had once withstood Swords was still incredibly resilient.

"Touch of Nature!"

A dozen thick vines burst from the ground, snaking around the legs of the warriors in the front rank.

But to everyone’s shock, these decrepit Elephant Clan Warriors simply tore the magically conjured vines apart with sheer force!

"How is that possible?" a young Elf Mage in the back row exclaimed.

Elf High Priest Shamiel gripped her Magic Staff tightly. "Never underestimate any warrior who takes the field," she said.

Suddenly, the eldest Elephant Man Warrior stopped in its tracks.

It leaned on its wooden club for support, threw its head back, and let out a long, mournful cry.

The others responded in kind, and fifty aged roars echoed across the battlefield.

They were burning the last of their Life!

The next moment, the group of aged Elephant Clan Warriors abandoned their slow advance and charged the Wood Elf Corps!

"Summon the Tree-men!"

"Use the First Level Spell Life Absorption in conjunction with Vine Entanglement!"

Shamiel had taken command of the Natural Elf Mages in the rear.

The Elephant-men began to charge, their speed far greater than anticipated.

They no longer conserved their strength, and every footfall made the Earth tremble.

Three ancient Tree-men moved to intercept them but were sent crashing back with splintered branches!

However, a dozen more Tree-men appeared from the rear, finally halting the charging Elephant Clan Warriors.

Once they were stopped, the Elf Mages in the rear had a chance to lock onto their targets!

"Now!" High Priest Shamiel suddenly raised her Magic Staff. "Life Absorption!"

All the Elf Mages cast their spell simultaneously. Thick, emerald-green vines erupted from the ground, coiling around the Elephant Clan Warriors and beginning to drain the scarce Life Energy remaining in their bodies.

A great net woven from vines gradually covered the legs of the Elephant Clan.

Even when the Elephant Clan Warriors tried to struggle, they were hampered by the continuous Life Absorption.

The color of emerald green gradually enveloped the Elephant Man Warriors.

The already scarce Life Force of these old Elephant Clan Warriors began to drain away rapidly.

Their movements grew sluggish,

and the Elephant Clan Warrior at the very front collapsed to its knees. It gazed at the impenetrable Elf Corps before it,

and with its last ounce of strength, hurled the massive, five-meter-long wooden club at the Elf Army Array.

A trunk of that size would surely cause numerous Wood Elf casualties if it landed.

The massive trunk whistled through the air,

but it was intercepted in midair by another Tree-man summoned by the Elf Corps!

"It’s over," Elf High Priest Shamiel sighed softly.

When the last of the old Elephant Clan Warriors’ Life Force was drained away by the Life Absorption spell,

the battle was all but over!

All that remained was to clean up the battlefield!

Seeing that he had successfully passed six rounds of the trial,

Zhang Yi’s consciousness glanced at the Teleportation Gate still standing in the Divine Realm.

Actually, ever since the end of the fifth round, Zhang Yi had a suspicion.

’These six rounds of trials weren’t purely a test of strength.’

It was a rollercoaster of emotions!

After confirming that the Tiger Clan and the black Teleportation Gate had indeed vanished,

all the surviving Wood Elves and Natural Elves looked at each other and smiled.

Then, they let their voices loose, crying out in unison,

"All thanks to the great Elf God!"

"We thank you for your blessings!"

"You are the one we shall worship for all eternity, the one we shall serve for the rest of our lives!"
