Global Deities: Rising as Wood Elves' God

This Neutral Elf City operated under a feudal council system. It was the product of multiple Elf Elders keeping each other in check, but this system was still more advanced and civilized than the feudal monarchy of the Moon Elves. Even so, it was hardly anything special compared to the system in Zhang Yi’s Divine Realm.

The Elf spies sent out by Stuck, the Director of Intelligence, had long ago discovered that the Neutral Elf City’s most precious treasures were all hidden beneath the Elf Elder council’s meeting place. In theory, this treasury didn’t belong to any individual Elf Elder. Instead, it belonged to the entire Neutral Elf City. The Magic Resources disbursed to the Elf Mages and the wages paid to the Elf Guard Army were all drawn from this treasury.

But now, to the victor go the spoils! The assets within this treasury all belonged to Zhang Yi! 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

And this treasury, aside from the personal stashes of the Elf Elders, was the wealthiest place in the entire city.

Elf Corps Commander Feiyana had brought so many Elves for several reasons. First, to prevent any Elves from taking advantage of the chaos to steal a large amount of Magic Resources from the treasury. Second, she feared the treasury might be filled with hidden Magic Traps that would require the intervention of Elf Mages. Third, transporting the Magic Resources out of this treasury would certainly take time, requiring Elf Warriors to stand guard and deter any trouble.

However, even if the treasury had countless Magic Traps, when it came to the strength and numbers of Elf Mages, who could possibly compare to the Elf Mage Corps under Zhang Yi?

Following Elf Corps Commander Feiyana’s orders, the Elf Mage Corps she had brought along went to work. Ten minutes after they descended, the Elf Mage leading the team, a Seventh Level powerhouse, returned.

"We have not disappointed you, Corps Commander. Although the treasury below was laid with many Magic Traps, they have all been disarmed."

"When you go down, just head straight to the end, and you will see the opened treasury!"

"Good work!" the Elf Corps Commander expressed her thanks to this group of Seventh Level Elf Mages.

The squad of Elf Mages rejoined the corps behind Elf Corps Commander Feiyana. Although the Elf Mages had said the Magic Traps ahead were removed, it was still best to be cautious. This was a point that even the great God of Nature had repeatedly stressed to the important figures within his Divine Realm.

Thus, a squad of Elf Warriors, holding Heavy Shields forged with Red Water Copper Python Scale and Cold Rock Heavy Iron, took the lead. The Elf Corps Commander followed behind, flanked by her Elf Guards, while the Elf Mages at the rear cast several layers of shields on her. After taking these precautions, half of the accompanying Elf Corps remained above to stand guard and prevent any other Elves from rushing down. Then, the rest of the Elf Corps followed Elf Corps Commander Feiyana into the treasury!

The moment Feiyana stepped into the underground treasury, hundreds of Moonlight Stones embedded in the ceiling lit up simultaneously, illuminating the entire space as if it were day. The Moonlight Stones were sound-activated; they would light up whenever a sound was made nearby. Despite its name, the Moonlight Stone had nothing to do with the Moon Elves. It was a type of stone that could emit a moonlight-like glow in the dark, hence the name.

Once the Moonlight Stones lit up, what appeared before Elf Corps Commander Feiyana’s eyes was a rectangular hall over two hundred meters wide, its ceiling supported by six massive, rune-carved stone pillars. Pillars of various sizes divided the entire treasury into different sections, but it was roughly separated into three main areas: Magic Materials, Magic Cultivation Resources, and Magic Plant Resources!

Among these three areas, it was hard to say which one contained the more precious Magic Resources, but there were indeed a few special items that caught Elf Corps Commander Feiyana’s eye!

Just then, she overheard some of the other Elves talking.

"Whoa!"

"This is the first time I’ve ever seen so many Magic Resources piled up in front of me!"

"With so many Magic Resources piled up in this treasury and a Magic Array sealing it off from the outside, the Magic Concentration in here is much higher than outside!"

"Yeah! If you feel the Magic Concentration in here carefully, it’s actually comparable to the concentration in the Divine Realm before the great God of Nature expanded it... the Magic Concentration in the Divine Realm three years ago!" an Elf Mage couldn’t help but exclaim, looking at the piles of Magic Cultivation Resources.

"That’s right! But the Magic Concentration here still can’t compare to the concentration during the medicinal baths in the Bloodline Evolution Pool, nor can it match the concentration under the Elf Ancient Tree! It’s still a far cry from what the great God of Nature can provide!"

However, some Elves had a more extreme reaction upon hearing this.

"The great God of Nature possesses such immense Power! The Magic Concentration in this treasury, though high, cannot be compared to the great God of Nature!"

"Once the great God of Nature obtains these Magic Resources, he will have Elf Queen An Nobel use them on us in another form! We should be even more grateful to the great God of Nature!"

"That’s right! We have what we have today all thanks to the great God of Nature!"

"Otherwise, who knows what ditch I’d still be stuck in! Of course, I’m not saying living in a ditch is bad, but becoming an Elf Warrior to serve the great God of Nature opens up a whole new world!"

The Elves who came here were all from the Divine Realm, handpicked by Elf Corps Commander Feiyana. The Elf Corps from the Divine Realm were more worldly. Compared to the Elves from the Elf Alliance who had only received two years of training, they were better able to control their greed. Feiyana could trust that the Elves from the Divine Realm wouldn’t casually steal any Magic Resources, but she couldn’t say the same for the Elves from the Elf Alliance.

Before Elf Corps Commander Feiyana gave a clear order, not a single Elf made a move. This was not only due to her strict military discipline but also because all the Elves here had already accepted that the Magic Resources in the treasury were to be sacrificed to the great God of Nature! These resources, destined as a sacrifice to the great God of Nature, were absolutely untouchable. Therefore, they didn’t even lay a finger on anything. After all, anyone who touched or embezzled things meant for the great God of Nature would be seen as an enemy by every single Clan in the Divine Realm!

The great God of Nature is so noble; he cannot be sullied by any Clan! By offering these Magic Resources to the great God of Nature, he would grant them even richer rewards. They knew how to tell a small gain from a huge one.

Hearing the conversations among her Elf Soldiers and Elf Mages, and seeing that they showed little greed despite their shock, Elf Corps Commander Feiyana felt a sense of pride in her heart. It once again proved their Clan’s loyalty to the great God of Nature, and she didn’t need to doubt her own subordinates.

She had seen her fair share of the world, after all, but even she had been momentarily stunned by the sheer volume of Magic Resources piled before her eyes. For the Elf Warriors and Elf Mages she brought in to recover so quickly from their shock was already quite remarkable! As for their quiet chatter, that was insignificant.

After listening to them, Elf Corps Commander Feiyana focused her gaze back on the few items that looked truly extraordinary.

In the Magic Materials area to the far left, there was a half-meter-tall stone pillar. Floating above the pillar was a piece of precious Thunder Attribute Magic Resource larger than her head—Celestial Tribulation Thunder Gold! Even though it was sealed by a Magic Array to prevent any of its aura from leaking, the occasional flashes of purple lightning still captured Elf Corps Commander Feiyana’s attention at first glance.

Celestial Tribulation Thunder Gold was formed when a bolt of lightning from the heavens happened to strike a certain Magic Metal, instantly altering its original properties. Its rarity went without saying!

As Elf Corps Commander Feiyana shifted her gaze slightly to the right, she felt a faint draconic pressure emanating from beside the half-meter-tall pillar. On another special, four-meter-tall stone pillar, twelve Dragon Horns from Thunder Attribute Sub-dragons were mounted! Approaching it, one could still feel the draconic pressure, even though it was weakened by a Magic Array.
