All tests and exams at Golden City No.1 Middle School used simulations that were as close to real divine warfare as possible,

The Wood Elves had excellent hearing and heard the goblin’s words from across the field crystal clear,

their faces filling with disgust at the ugly goblin’s words.

The number of goblins emerging from the black portal continued to grow. They held crude Weapons, their greedy eyes scanning the Wood Elves’ territory.

A slightly larger goblin, wearing a beast-bone ornament on its head, soon came out.

It raised the Wooden Staff in its hand; it seemed to be their leader.

"Today is a good day, brothers!"

"The great Maglubiyet has guided us to new prey!"

The goblin leader let out a shrill laugh. "Capture the female Elves and kill all the resisting males!"

The Wood Elves reacted quickly.

Under Feiyana’s command, all the Wood Elves with a Bow and Arrow took advantage of the fact that their opponents had yet to find their footing,

and launched a preliminary volley of arrows at the goblins that were still teleporting in.

The Wood Elves’ rain of arrows whistled toward the goblin horde, dozens of arrows cutting through the air.

A few goblins in the front rank, caught off guard, were pierced by Wooden Arrows and pinned to the ground, letting out shrill screams.

But more goblins quickly raised their crude Wooden Shields, barely managing to block the attack.

"The Elves react faster than I thought!"

the goblin leader shouted in anger, raising the Wooden Staff in its hand, only to quickly lower it again.

"The great Maglubiyet grants us Power!"

"Charge!"

More goblins poured out of the black portal. They formed a loose formation and charged toward the Wood Elves, howling.

Feiyana quickly ordered, "Second rank of Wood Elves, prepare to fire!"

"Third rank, Wood Elves, get ready!"

"After the third rank of Wood Elves has attacked, the first rank will draw their bows and fire again. Keep rotating!"

Feiyana was employing the historically famous volley fire tactic,

having the Wood Elf Archers fire in volleys to ensure there was no break in the barrage of arrows.

The second rank of Wood Elf Archers loosed their arrows in unison.

For a moment, arrows rained down,

precisely targeting the goblins that had just appeared from the black portal.

Dozens of unlucky goblins fell to the ground, letting out ear-piercing shrieks.

"Keep firing! Don’t stop!" Feiyana commanded loudly, her eyes flashing with the light of battle.

The third rank of Wood Elves immediately followed, and another dense volley of arrows fell.

The goblins began to panic. Some raised their simple shields to defend themselves,

but trying to raise a Wooden Shield to defend while in the middle of a charge

was too difficult a maneuver for these short goblins.

The Elves’ masterfully crafted wooden arrows were too sharp; they easily pierced the shoddy fur clothes and sank viciously into the goblins’ bodies!

For a time, the goblins in the rear watched as those at the front continuously fell, and the will to fight began to desert them.
