Evil dragon has a warm heart

Wandering the battlefields of Heroic Spirit Land, Russell wielded the Burning Sword, having spent a full ten years observing the wars.

The cataclysm that cracked open the earth did not halt the hatred between the Beastman Tribes, but rather, it became more hysterical.

Battles big and small took place nearly every day, with Beastman Tribes entirely wiped out.

As Origin Power gradually dried up and the Magic Power filling the world waned, with no spirits to summon, the Beastmen fought with their robust bodies, enacting the most primitive and barest strife of knives, spears, swords, and clubs.

Occasionally, Russell would play some roles too, helping a Beastman Tribe turn the tide or orchestrating a movement of revenge.

With such leverage, he tried to disturb the entire battlefield.

But the march of war did not cease for the roles he played; it kept rolling forward like wheels, crushing everything in its path.

"This is truly a grand trend."

Russell sat cross-legged on a stone in the ruins of a battlefield, holding the Burning Sword upside-down. Beastman corpses scattered the ground, wild dogs and jackals fought frenziedly, flies swarmed the skies, and vultures circled incessantly.

Always ready to join in this gluttonous feast.

The wind emanated from Russell’s body, dispersing the foul odor, allowing him to think without environmental disruptions.

"Mastering Swordsmanship, starting wars, ending in Silent Annihilation..."

Who knows how much time has passed; with black days and white nights in endless cycles, the jackals, vultures, and flies have almost cleaned the battlefield.

But not a single creature noticed Russell, seated on the stone.

When the corpses on the battlefield turned to gleaming white bones, Russell finally ended his years of contemplation, slowly lifted his head, and gazed at the sunset on the horizon: "This is the Ancient past I seek; this is the authority I possess!"

A formless shockwave emanated from him at the center, dispersing all around, blowing away all the white bones and dust into fine powder.

Dust and smoke formed a colossal Sword Qi, like a blade that split heaven and earth, and violently struck the void, shattering both the space of Heroic Spirit Land and the already weak planetary world rules.

"Roar!"

The Little Fire Dragon on his shoulder soared into the sky, issuing a contented dragon’s chant while watching Russell’s transformation.

Within the shattered space, countless invisible Sword Qi retaliated, rushing towards Russell like a violent storm, seeming to grind him into dust, then assimilate him into themselves, becoming part of the planetary rules.

But the Origin Power of Heroic Spirit Land was nearly exhausted, and the planetary rules were already weak.

"How presumptuous!"

Russell laughed heartily, drew the Burning Sword, and with a gentle slash, he shattered the blustering Sword Qi.

Then the broken Sword Qi, one after another, merged into his body, becoming a part of him: "This is as it should be. I am one who commands Rule Power; how could I let rules control me? That would be laughable!"

Having absorbed the Sword Qi, Russell’s body began to float.

With each breath he took, it seemed as though endless Sword Qi dispersed into the air, mingling with the entire land of Heroic Spirit.

"This is the power of Rule."

Russell closed his eyes, but he still keenly felt every detail of the world because he had become a part of it.

"Congratulations, Russell, you have finally achieved your desire and become an Ancient Dragon like Shadowflame!" Magic Power dragon language bubbled forth, the Little Fire Dragon circled Russell in flight, "The rules of the Amber Dreamland grow stronger!"

Amalgamating the rule, advancing as the Swordsmanship Ancient Dragon, Russell’s body had been reshaped by Sword Qi.

Now, he, too, held his unique authority.

No longer needing to borrow the power from Dreamscape Ancient Dragon and Flame Ancient Giant Dragon, but the pact between them still existed. It was a pact made soul to soul, allowing them to lend each other’s power.

That is to say, Russell alone held the power of three major rules.

"What a cool feeling!" Russell laughed heartily, "So, this is how thrilling it is to become the embodiment of a rule. I should have sought this path earlier—Swordsmanship, war, Silent Annihilation; my authority is somewhat ominous."

"But the strongest in power," said the Shadowflame Dragon.

"Indeed." Russell nodded.

Compared to the rules shaping the Amber Dreamland, wielding the transformative and new life Flame Rules, or the luck-enhanced Freedom Rules, the profound Earth Rules, the Moonlight Faith’s Prophecy Rules, and even the Revenge Rule.

It was the Sword Law Rules, signifying war and annihilation, that were the true Slaughter Rules, holding the ultimate battle power.

No earth-shattering waves.

Only the omnipresent scent of killing.

Having profoundly experienced the Sword Law Rules, Russell floated in the air, overlooking the earth, and slowly said, "Whatever the case, I attained the way of the Sword Law Rules thanks to Heroic Spirit Land. It is only right that I repay the peach for the plum."

"Do you want to save these Beastmen?" asked the Little Fire Dragon.

"Not all, just a few kind Beastman Tribes I encountered on my travels... the Cat Ear Tribe, the Nine-tailed Fox Tribe, the Rain Swift Tribe... I plan to ask Saiban to distribute some seeds of freedom to them."

"Of course, you are the Emperor of the Amber Federation, what you say goes," the Little Fire Dragon said nonchalantly.

"The Amber Federation values democracy... at least the democracy of us Ancient Dragons," Russell said with a slight smile. "Anyway, the Magic Power of the Heroic Spirit Land is also a path of cultivation, which can be included in the Amber Dreamland."

"Congratulations, Your Majesty!"

"Russell, you’re truly impressive!"

But for Divine Spirits like Russell, time was merely a nap.

It was the year 1325 of the Amber Calendar. After the extraction of the Origin Power of a planetary world, the Divine Spirits of the Amber Federation, led by Russell, completed a monumental event that would be recorded in history.

The foundational rules of the Amber Dreamland had grown sturdy.

It could break free from the constraints of a planet, officially emerging into the real world, and would no longer need to transplant or parasitize on a worldly planet each time.

Boom!

With thunder and lightning, the citizenry of the Amber Federation, who had already been notified, ceased all activities and took shelter in the underground defense structures.

When they were informed they could return to the surface, they were suddenly astonished to discover that the sky above was no longer an artificial illusion; no fog obstructed the spaceships exploring the cosmos—they had gained freedom.

They could explore deep space.

On that day, within the self-made high tower, the Divine Spirits headed by Russell officially proclaimed the birth of a new world.

"The Amber Dreamland has evolved from fantasy to reality. Next, in my capacity as the Emperor of the Amber Federation, I declare that the Amber Central Region is formally renamed as—God Realm, and its connection with the independent territories has been severed."

The God Realm has been established.

The new world had arrived.

Duke Mel Yujiuhua awoke from his frozen slumber, and Russell accompanied him, spending his final days in the God Realm.

"You always do as you say, Russell."

"Yes."

"It’s just that this new world is so much different from the new world I had imagined," Mel said, shaking his head as his face gradually aged, "too many incomprehensible new humans, too many strange races."
