Evil dragon has a warm heart

"No way, sir, I can’t think of a way back." Butler Morris was anxious; he had searched every oak tree in the forest.

He recalled countless times the appearance of Cigar Manor.

Yet he was still in the oak forest of Amber Dreamland, with no signs of returning to the real world.

"Sir, what should we do, there are a lot of things waiting for me at Cigar Manor, and your dinner and breakfast also need preparing!" Butler Morris was so anxious he was about to cry.

Other servants were anxious too, as they couldn’t return either.

Russell had already descended from the throne on top of the Little Dream Dragon and seriously felt the wind on the oak tree, even summoning Fairy Saiban for a quick inquiry, concluding that even the wind wasn’t entirely free.

Relying on the wind in the oak forest, entering Amber Dreamland was a one-way trip.

"Morris."

"Sir."

"You can’t go back. From now on, stay in Amber Dreamland and serve me diligently," Russell said. "I will arrange for a group of Knights to come in and escort you to the City of Amber, where you will reside."

After a pause, Russell asked, "All of you are single, right?"

"Yes, sir," Butler Morris revitalized his disheartened spirit and replied, "but a few servants have parents still alive."

"I’ll have someone check if your parents would want to come in," Russell instructed, signaling everyone to wait there. "Morris, you first have people stay in the oak forest for the night, and I will arrange for someone to come in later."

"Yes, sir," Morris could only comply.

By then, Russell had returned to the real world, having completed his experiment with the oak forest, knowing that one oak tree could transport one person into Amber Dreamland, but alas, it was only a one-way ticket.

"This is the Mystic Communicator..." Russell remarked.

He immediately summoned the Nightmare Beast Senbula and used Quiet Dream transportation to head to Red Castle, holding a Cabinet meeting overnight.

"...That is the situation. As long as we can locate the fairies, we could use the Fairy Forest to transport people into Amber Dreamland... Now discuss and select a group to be sent to Blackflame Plains."

The oak forest near Cigar Manor had been planted over the years, covering about ten thousand acres.

With over twenty oak trees per acre, that meant there were over two hundred thousand oak trees capable of transporting two hundred thousand people.

"Your Majesty, this is a great boon! Amber Dreamland is part of our country, always lacking in population development; it’s the perfect opportunity to send a batch of people there and start building up the City of Amber," Baron Geweidasi, the Prime Minister, said with a smile.

Chief Steward Lord Kunbei’s gaze flickered, "Your Majesty, can the oak forest be expanded?"

"The subsequently planted oak trees are unlikely to transport people," Russell shook his head. "The transportation of people by the oak forest depends on the ’wind,’ which is a power of the fairy’s Rule Power; each tree used diminishes this power."

"Then these two hundred thousand people must be carefully selected," Lord Kunbei sighed.

"Alright, work out the specifics of the population arrangements and how to deploy them after they enter Amber Dreamland. The Cabinet should urgently discuss this," Russell delegated the task and then left the Cabinet.

He returned to Cigar Manor to sleep.

The next morning, after breakfast, he took Sacred Unicorn Polly, Nightmare Beast Senbula, and Harpies Hape, using Quiet Dream transport, to the Changting Embassy in the Molten Fire Duchy.

Viscount Fred had already left, joining the Dreamshadow Flame Kingdom and was ennobled by Russell as the Earl of Molten Fire.

Now the Molten Fire Duchy was managed by a few remaining lords, forming an interim Cabinet responsible for handling the follow-up immigration work.

After arriving, Russell did not alarm anyone.

Instead, he quietly sensed the wind between heaven and earth and rode Polly, drifting along the wind’s trail far into the distance.

Soon, he arrived on the Snowfield.

Here, a Snow Forest grew, covering an area of no more than thirty thousand mu, with most of it being Snow Fir Trees. Russell didn’t count them precisely, but there were at least a million fir trees—which took up much less space compared to oak trees.

"Fairy, come out," Russell called out loudly as he looked at the tallest Snow Fir Tree.

There was no movement.

"Damn it, do I really have to force it?" Russell cursed under his breath. Fairies were a stubborn lot. Then he activated the mark on his palm, "Ice Cream, I need you to make an impression on these fairies!"

Roar!

A silent roar, and the phantom of Little Dream Dragon appeared.

The small creatures of the entire Snow Forest were paralyzed with fear. At that moment, a tiny fairy flew out from a Snow Fir Tree.

Trembling, it flew in front of Russell, "Great Master of Dreamscape, what has angered you so?"

"Pretending to be ignorant, I have the Swinging Wind Chimes given by Fairy Saiban, why do you refuse to meet me!" Russell’s face was stern.

A new Snow Forest appeared on the edge of Amber Dreamland, Little Dream Dragon dispersed the thick fog, welcoming this Snow Forest into Amber Dreamland, integrating it together.

"So, little fairy, do you have any blessings to give me?" Russell looked at the fairy, now grown ten times larger, and felt like he was at his favorite part of taking advantage—Saiban had given him several blessings, asking this little fairy for one didn’t seem too much.

"From within Time," said the little fairy, "These are blessings left within time in the Dragon Spirit Forest Sea."

"Dragon Spirit Forest Sea!" Russell was astonished, "From the era before the ten thousand years of ice?"

"Maybe."

The little fairy didn’t know much; it was just a collective of the free will of the Snow Forest, not its creator.

However, this gave Russell an idea, "Dragon Spirit Forest Sea, from before ten thousand years of ice... Back then, the Tree of the Universe might have still been flourishing, teeming with Magic Power, so the entire world was filled with mysterious treasures... Once the Tree of the Universe withered, everything began to decline."

Ultimately, the will of Dragon Sleep Continent changed the rules of the world’s rotation, constructing an ecology centered around dragons.
