Cosmic Patron System: 100X Return on Every Reward

Just as Reyansh stepped past the three monsters, blasted and burned. A notification panel appeared in front of him.

’Hmm...Gravemaw Wyrm,’ he noted their names and stored their body in the inventory then moved forward.

As he rushed into the tunnel forward, he sensed a big hole ahead, prompting him to stop. He stepped a closer to the hole, standing at the edge, he dropped a normal fireball.

The fireball kept going down the hole, casting a circular light around the walls of the hole. The light from the fireball kept decreasing as it went down.

After falling for about thirty seconds, the light from fireball disappeared without any impact.

"Looks like we aren’t going to find its end, guys," Reyansh commented.

[Ramon_Night: If there’s no end to them then there is possibility that it is a dungeon sinkhole, be careful.]

[Ellise: Yeah, sometimes there are these types of holes in some of the dungeons.]

[The Blazing Sandra: You won’t die immediately but keep falling endlessly then die eventually unless you are strong enough to break the dungeon itself. So, it is worse than death.]

"Well, first time I am hearing about them."

’They really are nasty, boss. Be careful.’ Lyrielle warned too.

"Got, it. No jumping in weird holes. Thanks for the info guys." Reyansh responded.

He extended his mental energy and perception, finding multiple such holes. A few of them were smaller but some of them had a big diameter.

Now instead of rushing straight, he ran criss-cross, staying away from the sinkholes. He thought about jumping over them to save some time but Sandra words rang in his minds.

’Nope, not yet strong enough to break the dungeon. I am even hearing about it for the first time.’ He thought while running.

"So, Sandra, how does a dungeon break occur?" he asked as he avoided the sinkholes.

[The Blazing Sandra: Its pretty straightforward. What happens when you put someone in a box and that box is not strong enough to hold that someone?]

"The box explodes...yup, pretty straightforward." Reyansh nodded his head, zigzagging ahead.

[Ramon_Night: I have heard about it too but my version include breaking them from outside by force.]

[Red Falcon: The one Sandra’s talking about is more difficult and there are very few cases of it. The method that Ramon talked about is more common and comparatively easy.]

[Ent_Lord_345: Thanks for the enlightenment guys, I didn’t know dungeons could be broken.]

[Daoist_kun: Really, that’s my first time hearing about it too.]

’That certainly will be a sight to see, exploding a dungeon from inside,’ Reyansh’s streamer mind churning as he traversed the Sink Zone.

’Boss, if you are day dreaming about breaking a dungeon. We aren’t there yet, so keep yourself focused. I don’t want to lose my rich contractor,’ Lyrielle voice broke Reyansh’s thoughts.

’Noted.’ He laughed internally.

’And that question was good, try doing that. But only if you can, don’t break your combat rhythm,’ she advised.

’I’ll keep that in mind.’

After transversing for more than two minutes, he finally left the Sink Zone behind. He stopped for a second as the area opened slightly.

He noticed three big tunnels in front of him. As he tried checking best pathway with his perception, he sensed the right tunnel had most signs of scratches against the walls.

The small pebbles due to regular slithering and burrowing movements were clear indication.

’Right it is then,’ he decided.

He turned right and sprinted forward, a few seconds after entering, the tremor occurred again, causing him to stop.

The tremor passed in about 5 seconds, just as he was about race forward again, another tremor occurred.

’Back to back?’ he thought before spreading his senses, his eyes widened.

’Just how many are coming for this big tremor?’ he thought as he multiple monster homing on his location.

He stood his ground, retracting the bat, making both his hands free. Multiple fireballs appear besides him, their number kept increasing until it reached 10.

A total of ten fireballs orbited around Reyansh when first monster came out from the one of the smaller tunnel. It was still big enough that the monster that came out was Ironfang Wyrm.

Reyansh pointed his hands at it, two fireballs moved, striking at its weak point. The fireballs exploded on the same position, one after another.

However, before this monster could fall, another monster appeared from opposite site.

Reyansh gestured at that monster, two fireballs moved again.

BOOM! BOOM! 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Consecutive explosion at same spot brought the second monster down too. However, he didn’t even have time to take a breath when three monster appeared at three different location.

Two Ironfang and one Gravemaw, they all screeched together, releasing a powerful shockwave.

Without wasting a beat, he formed a star shaped wall around him to negate the effect of their shockwave. All six remaining fireballs moved, two aimed at each.

The tunnel was filled sound of explosion again. Reyansh formed ten fireballs again, he felt his mana draining but he kept his focus.

Two Ironfang fell but Gravemaw stood, just injured. It moved not to attack but to devour the rocks around.

"Hein?"

However, next moment, he saw the injuries on the monster healing at a visible rate.

[Fiery_Redina: They could heal too, be careful.]

[Storm_Knight: Why aren’t you using a weapon?]

[Raisena_Forge: What @Storm_Knight said.]

’I knew two won’t be enough but they could heal too, huh?’

This time he aimed four fireballs at it. A second later, four continuous blast finally killed it, its mouth blasted to smithereens.

Lyrielle highlighted the Storm_Knight message in front of Reyansh.

Before he could reply, four more monster, two Ironfang Wyrm and two Gravemaw Wyrm, burst out of the walls and tunnel.

Reyansh threw six fireballs at them, two each on Ironfang and two fireballs on Gravemaw at left, leaving the right one to attack.

As the fireballs exploded, the Gravemaw at right spat rock shards at him, prompting him to erect a wall in front of himself.

He felt his mana levels dropping, still, he conjured ten more fireballs, sending 8 of them towards two Gravemaw immediately.

The sound of fireballs exploding and scales breaking echoed in the tunnel.

Reyansh didn’t even glanced at the notification as the moment bodies of two Gravemaw Wyrms hit the ground, five Ironfang Wyrm appeared, surrounding him from all sides.

"After Gravemaw Wyrm, you guys are cute," Reyansh smirked as he created 8 more fireballs.

All ten fireballs streaked as they tried to scream, trying to bury him in their shockwave.

However, before they could let out a proper scream, their mouth exploded due to successive explosion, more powerful than before.

As the bodies of all the monster fell with loud thud, this time, no more monsters appeared.

"That’s why I didn’t use any weapon. If I get too close to any one of them, others would had more time to attack me." He exhaled before explaining.

"This way, they had to be on the defensive the moment they appeared." He added.

’Nice one, boss,’ Lyrielle appreciated.
