The moment Reyansh cleaved the head of the boss monster, he knew he wouldn’t be able to block this lightning bolt with his weapon as his senses alarmed him.

He just focused on the Last of Veil of Threshold and increased the thickness of armor over his head.

Just as the lightning struck Reyansh, his vision turned white for a moment due to blinding light and pain as lightning sheared through his body.

The strike lasted only a second, but Reyansh felt every microsecond of it. His insides were burning out due to lightning coursing through his veins and organs.

As the lightning bolt faded, Reyansh tasted copper in his mouth for first time. The smell of burnt corpse of the boss monster invaded his nostrils.

While chat talked about Reyansh, the man of discussion was stuck like a statue, with his sword half raised. The sleeves of his dress had been burnt and some parts of his pant.

His skin was covered in bruises and burnt marks, as he tried to move his body. He could feel his every muscle opposing even the thought of moving an inch.

’Move, Damn it,’ he screamed mentally as tried to move his sword.

However, he also felt something within him healing his body, one muscle fibre at a time. The pain had spiked when he was struck but it was also subsiding slowly.

’This must be the Trait Sparks at work,’ he felt slightly relieved otherwise he thought he would remain stuck like that for minutes.

Just then, Reyansh felt slight movement in his hands, he pushed himself further. The next moment, he lowered his sword and the broadsword retracted into the Tattoo.

A few seconds, he could move his entire body, albeit slowly. The moment, he could move freely, a string of notification appeared, however, he first walked towards the portal before other lightning bolt could strike him.

The moment he exited the dungeon, he ran straight for the cab and sat in the back.

"Frostbite cavern, I have 100 minutes and two dungeons to clear. So, put more pressure on the accelerator." He ordered.

"As you say, boss," the driver noticed the state of Reyansh but didn’t ask any question and drove straight away to their next destination.

"It will take around 10 minutes to reach next dungeon, and I like to keep 10 minutes of buffer for situations like this exactly," he replied as he showed his burnt hands, slowly healing under Minor Regeneration.

’Okay, let’s check the notifications,’ he checked the notification while chat reacted.

’Well, at least there are benefits after going through that experience. But it’s better to not be too greedy, living a thrilling life and always endangering yourself are two different things.’ He concluded.

He had expected to survive this but the bolt itself was unexpected on his part. He had never questioned much about taking risk but he always like to made an informed decision instead of doing something on a whim.

While chat talked about Reyansh among other things, he wanted to use the time to recover himself as much as possible.

So he closed his eyes and tried to trace the pathway of how his trait worked. However, even with all his intelligence, he couldn’t glimpse into secrets of Trait Spark.

All he felt was his body mending itself, his pain fading. He didn’t push further and let his mind rest for few minutes.

A few minutes later, the cab came to halt as it reached its destination.

"The last dungeon is Rotshade Orchard, depart the moment I come back," he instructed as he left the cab.

After going through clearance, he stood in front of the gate. This gate boasted the etchings of wolves and something similar to spiders.

Feeling his body recovered mostly, he took a deep breath and entered the dungeon. The moment his feet touched the ground, instead of hard ground he landed on thick snow.

A chill air filled the surrounding as his body recoiled a little due to temperature difference. He stretched his body a bit, readying himself for another speed run.

While he was readying himself, his perception picked up few monsters creeping towards him. He extended his hands outwards as two spiked hammer manifested in his hands.

"Well, let’s not keep the monsters waiting and break some ice." He stated as he ran towards the direction from which monsters were approaching him.

Aryan Rajput stood alone today, outside the gate, eyeing towards a particular direction. His stooges still want to follow him but he didn’t wanted to cause any problem in his father’s plans.

He was standing, contemplating the thoughts about doing this. Though he enjoys bullying people, he had never thought of kidnapping some whatever his father had planned.

He was hesitating a bit, not because he cared for Vanya or felt remorse. The reason behind his indecisiveness was his fear of being caught.

He didn’t wanted to be caught in something nefarious as his awakening days neared. He was planning on grandstanding on his day of awakening but he was caught, all his efforts would be in vain.

She appeared calm, composed as she walked on the footpath.

’What should I make for dinner? Brother is already working hard, I should make a soya bean dish, his favorite,’ she thought, completely unaware of the situation she was about to face.

Aryan took out a device and clicked the button and spoke, "She has left the school and is alone. Be careful and make sure to follow father’s instructions."
