He sat silently for a moment, the possibilities of someone tracking down his channel.

The more he thought about it, he got a feeling that even though he hadn’t been identified yet. He may have been marked for observation or something like that.

"First step, move mana from the core to all the extremities of the body. Forming a thin layer of mana just under the skin." He let his own voice be the guide.

The stability of the core and the control over his mana helped in easing out the process which would have been difficult otherwise.

He first started by forming a thin layer around both of his hands and moved from there. Slowly over a minute, his body was enveloped by a thin mana layer.

"Now, the second step, sense the mana in the environment around me and let it enter through the layer."

Due to absorbing the Essence and the Prism, his sensitivity to mana had increased. He could easily sense the mana in surrounding, the mana here was sparse, so he patiently waited.

A few seconds later, the mana particles in the vicinity stirred like attracted by something. The closer they got the pores, faster they became.

Just as some mana entered his body through the pores, he felt the same sense of rejuvenation he felt earlier. However, he still maintained his focus on the process itself.

The mana particles that entered his body, didn’t directly travel though his body. Instead, the impurities from the particles stuck to the layer created earlier, which acted as a filter, allowing only pure mana to pass.

The process was slow but he enjoyed this process of feeling the small mana particles and aimed to improve his control over them during the process.

Slowly, this step neared the completion. When he felt that all of his pores had been used at least once, he moved to the next step.

At this moment, the layer he created wasn’t just a layer. It had become a net that filtered out the impurities of mana, only allowing pure mana to enter his body.

Moving on to the third step, he used his perception to focus on every pores on his body. He had never used his perception like this before, which felt awkward to him.

As his perception mapped all the pores, he stopped his breathing for a second. Then inhaled sharply, beside the natural air as he remained focused on the floor, a gush of mana entered his body.

Just as the third step completed, his entire body felt the changes. This gush of mana worked like an adrenaline for him, only external.

Now onto the fourth and final step, all the mana that had entered, he focused on it and guided the mana towards his core.

All the mana entered his mana core guided by him. However, just as the mana entered the core, instead of being stored, it merged with the wall of the mana core due to his mana core already being full. This helped him in moving further along his mana rank.

’So, if my mana core was empty, first I would have to completely fill the mana core before focusing on the mana core itself. Hmm...makes sense.’

Exhaling slowly, he opened his eyes. The layer of mana and impurities acting as filter he used was still there. It would help in passively collecting mana when he used the mana.

"This was a new experience, though a bit time consuming. It allowed me to help perceive mana better," he stated, planning on moving forward towards the 6th item on the list.
