In the sky, watching the army below gradually approach the city walls, the chaos quickly submerged in the endless sea of ghosts, and the actual losses were far less than his estimate.

Kevin glanced at the few hundred Ghost Emperors who still refused to submit to him, showing anger on their faces.

He shouted towards Alexander, "Alexander, you didn’t expect this, did you? In the end, you’ve only helped to dress me for my wedding. Now the entire Third Ghost Realm is completely mine! To thank you, I will give you the highest death honor. Let this billion-strong ghost army tear you to pieces!"

"Pitiful! Even with Louis’ help, what of it? Where is he now? He’s left you and ran, leaving the entire Dark Hell City empty! You are like an ant before me. If not for using you as an excuse to consolidate my power, you should have died a month ago!"

"Is that so?" Facing the approaching endless tide of ghosts, Alexander raised his head, his lips slowly curling up: "Who says that my Dark Hell is just an empty city?"

"What do you mean by that?" Alexander’s words made Kevin pause, instinctively looking towards the empty Dark Hell City behind Alexander with caution. Could it be that Alexander still had an ambush?

He had repeatedly confirmed before, even sending subordinates with special talents to inspect Dark Hell, and indeed, except for the few people present, it was completely empty.

But Kevin quickly realized the implication.

I’ll wait right here to shatter all your pride, to have you devoured in despair by my endless ghost army!"

"Should I call them out? Let me try then." The closest ghost army was already less than a hundred meters away. If it weren’t for the fact that those walking in the front were the weakest ghost civilians, mere cannon fodder, they would already be able to attack Alexander.

Yet, there was not a trace of panic on Alexander’s face, rather a look that seemed to say ’don’t regret it later’.

"Haha!" Kevin laughed in anger, arrogantly saying: "Pitiful worm, still putting on airs at this time. Go ahead, call them! I want to see how many people you can summon."

"Alright then!" Alexander nodded, stretched out his hand, and snapped his fingers lightly. Lucy, Henry... one by one, the figures of the survivors appeared behind Alexander.

"Chosen Ones? Your trump card is Chosen Ones? Beings as insignificant as ants?" Looking at the Chosen Ones suddenly appearing behind Alexander, Kevin shouted in disbelief.

After all, Kevin viewed Chosen Ones as nothing more than weak insects, so he never imagined that Alexander’s trump card would be the supposedly frail Chosen Ones. "No, wait!" Suddenly, Kevin seemed to notice something, his gaze fixating on the survivors.

"What are you, daring to insult us and attack our leader’s ghost city? Brothers, grab your weapons!" Before Kevin could take a closer look, Henry roared, a massive brick materializing in his hand, as terrifying Ghost Energy surged from his body, lifting him into the air.

The other survivors followed suit, pulling out bricks and releasing Ghost Energy, rising into the air with grim expressions, facing the endless black tide of ghosts. What of malevolent ghosts or a billion-strong army? To the survivors, Alexander was a god-like figure.

Although they had not yet fully grasped what was happening, did that really matter? To insult their revered god and surround his city was asking for trouble!

A billion Ghost Emperors rose into the air, their formidable presence even intimidating the vast ghost sea, causing it to instinctively halt. "Forbidden! They have forbidden power too!" Someone in the allied army suddenly shouted in terror.

All eyes turned to see the faint forbidden power intertwined with their Ghost Energy. Though much weaker than the forbidden power obtained by Kevin and others through Ghost Treasures, the quantitative leap in level made the number less significant.

A billion Ghost Emperors with forbidden power! The allied army erupted in exclamations, with many ghosts beginning to stealthily retreat.

"Everyone, don’t panic!" Alexander’s trump card indeed exceeded Kevin’s expectations. With a conflicted expression, Kevin seemed to make a resolute decision, shouting, "They are all Chosen Ones, mere flesh and blood!

What can a billion Ghost Emperors do? We have more than a billion ghost soldiers. Attack! Kill them all, even if we have to pile them to death!"

A billion forbidden Ghost Emperors were no joke. Dark Hell, an adversary like this, was also used by him as a lever to consolidate the Third Ghost Realm. The Endless Abyss might be powerful, but without Kevin’s influence, it was just another strong city, incomparable to the leading powers of the First Ghost Realm.

Yet, Kevin, using Louis as a pretext, gathered the ghost population of the entire Third Ghost Realm in record time, hollowing out most of the ghost cities with his countless influences. If such a person isn’t considered a mastermind, then who is?

In some ways, Kevin and Alexander are quite similar. Both have grand vision and far-reaching strategies. Even their methods of planning bear many similarities, such as their choice to rapidly grow their power through coercive tactics.

Kevin may not have the intention or courage to confront the Mist World like Alexander, but that’s because he’s not part of a larger game with numerous forces at play, lacking the power to truly confront the Mist World.

If Alexander had not existed, Kevin’s plan would have unfolded flawlessly, gradually strengthening his influence until one day, he would reveal his true fangs to the world. At that point, having unified the entire Horror World, he would naturally turn his attention to the Mist World.

Perhaps in a time of peace, the two could have been real confidants. Unfortunately, the world doesn’t entertain ’perhaps’ or ’if.’ In such chaotic times, the two are destined to be adversaries.
