They shook hands. After agreeing on what Stella Sterling needed and settling on a price, they finalized the deal.

Of course, Stella Sterling couldn’t take the goods tonight. She arranged with the blue-haired man for him to deliver them to her door tomorrow, giving him the address of her villa.

For this deal, Stella Sterling hadn’t used her own name. Instead, she had used her father’s, Marcus Sterling, negotiating the partnership in the name of the Sterling Family.

"Miss Sterling, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I hope we can meet again!" The blue-haired man smiled, clearly in a good mood.

Stella Sterling’s smile was just as brilliant. He was generous, the price was very low, and he had thrown in a lot of extra items. It was practically a giveaway. If it weren’t for the impure look in his eyes, she might have thought he was a complete idiot.

She returned his smile. "Mr. Mike, you’re both handsome and generous. It’s my pleasure to meet you, too!"

The blue-haired man burst out laughing, his eyes shining as he looked at Stella Sterling. In his excellent mood, he gifted her several more crates of goods and had them moved to her car, placing them with the boxes of ammunition he’d given her at the beginning. These he intended for her to take with her today.

At this, any trace of displeasure Stella Sterling had felt before vanished. ’Whatever his motives are, it’s not like I’m losing anything. In fact, I’ve gained so much.’ She was happy.

The deal was a pleasant one for both parties.

When Stella Sterling left, she walked right out in the open, unlike the trouble she’d gone through to get in.

The skinny, dark-skinned man had actually wanted to knock Stella Sterling out again, but the blue-haired man stopped him with a sharp command. So, he respectfully escorted her out.

They were so polite that Stella Sterling didn’t have the heart to cause any more trouble.

’I was originally planning to clean out their entire nest,’ she thought, ’but I’ve gained enough today, and they’ve shown genuine goodwill.’ The idea faded from her mind.

’Oh well. What I’ve gotten should be more than enough. With all this, I’ll have everything I need to run wild. I’ll even have the power to do some ’zero-dollar shopping’ later on.’

The skinny, dark-skinned man escorted her back to the black market entrance and even helped load the goods into her beat-up little car. Because of the blue-haired man’s attitude toward her, the skinny man and the others were also very respectful, which saved her a lot of effort.

After she stored the supplies in her space, she let out a huge sigh of relief. She had finally gotten her hands on the most difficult items to acquire. Even if the apocalypse came now, she would be able to face it calmly.

The next day, she arrived at the Sterling Family’s villa early. She still had some time before her meeting with Mike, so after some thought, she went into the house. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

"Young Miss, what are you doing back?" The housekeeper was taken aback when she saw Stella Sterling and asked in surprise, her brow furrowing as she blocked the doorway.

’Mrs. Sterling didn’t say the Young Miss was coming back, though. Did I misremember?’

"I’m back to get something!"

Stella Sterling’s tone was cold. She walked past the housekeeper and headed upstairs toward her room. After a moment’s thought, the housekeeper dialed Mrs. Sterling’s number.

She ignored the housekeeper’s actions and started rummaging through her room as soon as she got inside. She remembered that when she had first returned, the Sterling Family’s private lawyer had given her a share transfer agreement. It was from her deceased grandparents, left only to her, their biological granddaughter; no one else could have it.

Back then, she’d had no use for it and had even thought about returning it to Mr. and Mrs. Quinn. But then a lot of things happened, and she never got the chance. Afterward, the apocalypse came, and the papers became worthless—

But now, I can finally use it!
