Alexandre left the dressing room and went back into the arena, he set off to get his winnings, then suddenly he saw someone waiting for him outside the dressing room, it was Professor Omega, the examiner who had made him pass the three tests of the Hunter competition.

Alexandre didn't want to break this conversation and said nothing.

But Omega said to him 'I think you and I should talk! Alexandre Hauteville!' 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Alexandre stopped but once again said nothing.

Omega added 'Oh it ok Alexandre! I recognised you, not many hunters can have their stomach pierced and still stand up as if nothing had happened'.

Alexander stopped and in a powerful tone said 'What do you want Professor Omega?'

Omega smiled he immediately recognised Alexander's voice and said 'Oh nothing don't worry! I just want to help you!

Alexandre replied 'Help me? What do you mean by that?'

Omega nodded and said, 'The arena will never pay your winnings, especially under a false name! It's the underground after all, they're there to make money! But I can help you get it back!

Alexandre smiled and said 'Oh really? I'll have a look!'

Omega 'Wait! I know you must have a deal with someone in the arena, you couldn't have taken part under a false name otherwise, but you should know that it doesn't change anything! He won't pay, and what's worse, he might report you to the Militia! Or more worse, you could be in trouble with the underground mafia!'

Alexander clutched his mittens and thought for a good ten seconds,

He knew Omega was right, criminal networks were not known for their honour, especially when it came to money,then said, 'If you help me recover the money from my bet, what do you want in return?'

Omega 'Just a one-to-one chat with you, this weekend, whenever you want.'

Alexander nodded

Combat arena - Bookmarkers' stand

The atmosphere was gloomy for the bookmarker who had authorised odds of 3 on William Walton, he absolutely did not expect Chetan Ambani to lose his fight, but above all that many spectators had taken the risk of betting on a complete stranger, the bookmarker was therefore obliged to give a large sum of money even if it meant losing money himself, if he refused he could simply be imprisoned and be forced to pay back and in such a merciless age, that meant forced labour for years...

When the Bookmarker spotted Alexander, he knew it was really a bad day for him, he muttered 'That bitch dares to show her face too!

Alexandre stepped in front of the bookmarker with a huge mouse, he said 'Come on send the change, baby!

The bookmarker literally had a lump in his throat, he said 'Your payment's already gone!'

Alexander frowned and said 'Already gone? What do you mean?'

The Signet replied: 'The administrator phoned me and told me that he suspected you of fraud and that he would keep your winnings until you reported to the administration lodge!

Alexandre became furious and grabbed the bookmarker's cole, and he was about to throw a punch but Omega intervened and said 'Wait Alexandre, it's happening now! Don't give them a good reason not to pay you!

Alexandre controlled himself and let go of the cole, then turned to Omega and said, 'Right, let's go!"
