Sheila pulled completely away from him, her eyes scanning the frosted bathroom windows like a predator looking for a threat.

The warm water of the hot spring instantly turned cold, and Kai had to scramble backwards just to avoid getting his legs frozen to the bottom of the carved stone tub.

Sheila didn’t even bother looking for a towel.

She just stepped right out of the water, and a swirl of blue magic immediately wrapped around her pale skin, freezing the remaining water drops into a sparkling layer of ice that quickly formed into a protective battle dress.

It was a serious boss-level transformation, and it totally confirmed that playtime was over.

’That was so hot.’ Kai thought in his mind.

"Get dressed and stay behind me," Sheila ordered sharply, dropping the desperate girl act from a minute ago.

She summoned an ice spear in her right hand and kicked the wooden doors open, leaving Kai scrambling in the cold bathroom.

’So much for maxing out my experience bar today,’ Kai thought with a sigh.

He quickly dried off and pulled on his newly looted black tunic and dark pants. The clothes magically adjusted to fit his frame perfectly, and he grabbed his iron hunting dagger off the bench.

He knew a basic iron dagger was basically a toothpick in this crazy apocalypse world, but holding a weapon made him feel slightly less like a walking target.

Kai ran out into the wide hallway just in time to see Sheila blasting a hole right through the mansion’s crystal window.

Cold night air rushed into the corridor, bringing the sounds of chaos from the village below.

Kai peeked over Sheila’s shoulder, jumped, and looked down at the courtyard, and his brain completely stopped working for a few seconds.

The sky above the hidden witch village was swarming with pale, bat-winged humanoids.

They were swooping down from the clouds, screeching loudly, and diving toward the defensive walls.

But every single one of the attacking monsters was completely naked.

"Are those vampires?" Kai asked, blinking hard as a female attacker with pale breasts and leathery wings flew right past their broken window.

"And why the hell are they all totally naked?"

’Not like he hasn’t played this game before but he had to keep his clueless act to stay close with Sheila.’

"They are Draculas," Sheila said, her fingers glowing bright blue as she launched three sharp ice spears into the night sky.

"They are a feral brood from the Dark Valley. They always shed all their garments before a raid because they believe clothing restricts their wings and slows down their flight speed during a hunt."

"That is literally the dumbest aerodynamic theory I have ever heard in my entire life," Kai said, staring in disbelief as a naked male Dracula tackled a guard tower.

"This game world has absolutely zero logic. The developers just wanted an excuse to draw naked enemies."

Sheila didn’t have time to agree with his weird commentary.

A group of older witches sprinted into the courtyard below, holding glowing staffs and yelling ancient spells.

These were the village elders Sheila was just complaining about, and they looked incredibly annoyed by the sudden invasion of naked bloodsuckers.

"Shield the main gates!" an elderly witch shouted, throwing a massive wave of fire toward the sky.

"Do not let these shameless beasts touch the sacred statues."

The battle turned into absolute chaos, and the elders were actually very strong, blasting ice and lightning into the air, but there were just way too many Draculas pouring out of the dark clouds.

Kai watched the system screens pop up over the enemies flying past the balcony, and his stomach completely dropped.

’Yeah, I am absolutely useless in this fight,’ Kai thought, tightening his grip on his low-level iron dagger.

’If one of those naked freaks even looks at me, my health bar is going to disappear.’

He decided the best strategy was to stay exactly where he was, hiding behind a stone pillar while Sheila did all the heavy lifting.

The Ice Witch was putting on a terrifying display of power.

She stood right on the edge of the broken balcony, her silver hair blowing wildly in the wind as she summoned dozens of massive ice spikes from the ground below. She impaled three naked Draculas in a single move, completely ignoring their screeches as she defended her territory.

"No one touches my village!" Sheila yelled, her voice echoing with a deep magical resonance that made the stone floor shake.

She looked like an untouchable goddess of war, and Kai was honestly just glad she was on his side. But there is a problem with standing near the biggest threat on the battlefield.

It tends to draw unwanted attention from the enemy flanks.

While Sheila was completely focused on destroying the main group of Draculas attacking the elders in the courtyard, a single female Dracula managed to sneak around the roof of the ice mansion.

She dropped silently from the eaves, her massive leathery wings folding tight against her completely bare back.

Kai saw a shadow move in his peripheral vision, but he was way too slow to react.

The female Dracula landed right on the balcony. She was tall, with red eyes, sharp fangs, and a body that looked like it belonged on a mature magazine cover.

She didn’t have a single piece of armor or clothing on, but her pale skin looked as tough as leather.

"A human?" the naked Dracula purred, her voice raspy and echoing with a weird hunger.

"You smell incredibly sweet, little boy."

"Hey, let’s just talk about this," Kai said, raising his iron dagger in a totally pathetic defensive stance.

The female Dracula just laughed. She lunged forward with terrifying speed, completely bypassing his weak dagger swing, and grabbed him right by the shoulders with her arms.

Her grip was like a steel trap.

Before Kai could even scream for Sheila to help him, the vampire jumped off the stone balcony and snapped her wings open.
