Wizard: My Skills Can Infinitely Break Through

The squad pressed onward.

With Ian joining, the squad’s combat strength increased significantly.

His Crystal Cones’ reconnaissance and interference capabilities, combined with Alevia’s Moonlight Witchcraft, greatly accelerated their advance.

Along the way, they encountered several more waves of Demons, as well as another Law Resonance.

Space suddenly inverted, nearly flinging everyone to the cave ceiling. Fortunately, Ian reacted in time, using his Crystal Cones to anchor them and prevent any casualties.

"You’re highly adaptable to the warping of the Rules," Alevia said, watching Ian pensively.

"It might be due to the unique nature of my Spiritual Power," Ian said evasively.

Alevia didn’t press the matter. Everyone had their secrets.

The closer they got to the core area, the more Wizard teams they encountered.

Silver Ring, the Withered Council, Jade Forest... teams from all the major organizations were converging in the depths.

There was occasional friction, but it was kept in check by the Level Three Great Wizards, preventing any large-scale conflicts from erupting.

Ian spotted the Deep Red Royal Court’s contingent. They were few in number, but each one exuded a cold, sinister aura.

Ian pulled his hood lower, hiding among the Shadow Moon Squad to avoid drawing attention.

"Up ahead is the assembly area designated by headquarters," Alevia said, pointing to a massive natural cavern in front of them.

It had been converted into a temporary camp, with a Light Curtain formed from Purification Runes enclosing an area half the size of a soccer field.

Several hundred Wizards were resting and exchanging information inside.

In the center of the temporary camp floated a massive Crystal Mirror. It displayed a real-time map of the energy fluctuations in the Earth Hernia’s core, along with markers indicating the position of each squad.

Ian followed the Shadow Moon Squad into the camp.

The moment he stepped through the Light Curtain, a refreshing wave of Order Energy washed over him, mitigating the oppressive feeling of the Earth Hernia’s corruption.

Many Wizards sighed in relief, their faces showing their exhaustion.

"Captain Alevia!" A Wizard wearing a Silver Ring uniform approached them.

"Your squad has performed well. You’ve killed three Witch Demon avatars. The Merit Points have been recorded."

He glanced at Ian. "And this is?"

"Ian Marcus. He’s a Wizard from Shadow Moon who has just returned from his travels."

Alevia introduced him. "He’s very powerful. We owe our success in the previous battle to him."

The Silver Ring Wizard nodded, asking no further questions, and handed over a Jade Token used for recording Merit Points.

For the tasks ahead, the Level One Wizards were only required to stand guard here.

The final step of destroying or sealing the Earth Hernia was not something they could take part in.

That was a task only Level Three Great Wizards were qualified to handle.

The Earth Hernia’s Core.

A massive, heart-like tumor of dark-red flesh pulsated deep within the Abyssal rift.

With each contraction, it spewed forth a torrent of Demonic Qi, and warped Rules spread outwards like ripples.

The allied forces of the four great Wizard organizations had already surrounded it from all sides.

The Silver Armored Wizards of the Silver Ring formed ranks at the forefront, their Purification Runes linking together to form a wall of light as they advanced step by step.

The deep-blue robes of Shadow Moon Tower surged like a tide as their Moonlight Witchcraft wove into a net.

The Grey-robed Wizards of the Withered Council moved through the shadows, their Death Energy silently eroding the Mutants.

Meanwhile, the scarlet-robed Wizards of the Jade Forest held up a barrier of vitality to resist the corruption.

Ian followed the Shadow Moon Squad to the edge of the battlefield.

The scene before him was suffocating.

The tumor’s surface was covered in purplish-black veins, constantly ’birthing’ various Mutants.

Three-headed, six-armed Stone Giants; floating conglomerates of Resentful Spirits; twisted illusions born from Law Resonances...

"Clear out the Mutants on the periphery! Make way for the sealing Holy Artifact!" Alevia commanded.

The squad instantly spread out.

Ian didn’t hold back.

All twelve of his Floating Crystal Cones activated, transforming into a silver swarm that specifically targeted the Mutants’ Energy Nodes.

His Spirit Devourer trait activated at full capacity. A dark red vortex spun within his Sea of Spirit, devouring and converting the corrupt energy scattered across the battlefield to replenish his own.

His left hand swept out with a Frost Ash Beam. Wherever the interweaving beam of ice and fire passed, Mutants froze solid and shattered.

With his right hand, he periodically fired a Scorching Beam, precisely piercing the cores of the Resentful Spirit conglomerates.

Gaga leaped through the shadows, its Omen Eye disrupting the formation of Law Resonances and creating opportunities for its allies.

The battle was fierce and chaotic.

Wizards fell back injured, only for new squads to surge forward and take their place.

The Level Three Great Wizards from the four organizations hovered in midair, their auras as deep as the abyss, suppressing the most fundamental backlash of Rules from the tumor.

"Now!"

The Level Three Great Wizard from the Silver Ring, his hair and beard completely white, abruptly raised his hand.

A fist-sized Light Core, as brilliant as the sun, materialized in his palm.

Sacred runes flowed across the Light Core’s surface, emitting an aura of Order so pure it was absolute.

’The sealing Holy Artifact, bestowed by a Morning Star Wizard!’

"In the name of the Endless Holy Light, purify this world’s wound!"

The Light Core was hurled toward the heart of the tumor.

Time seemed to stand still for a moment.

The next moment, the Light Core exploded.

An endless torrent of Purification, like a celestial river pouring from the heavens, washed over the dark-red tumor.

HISSSS!!!

Thick black smoke instantly billowed from the tumor’s surface. Its purplish-black veins snapped one by one, and the warped Rules were forcibly smoothed out by the torrent of Order.

The Earth Hernia’s pulsation came to a sudden halt.

The endlessly ’birthing’ Mutants froze in place, then crumbled like sand sculptures.

The warping of Rules on the battlefield briefly subsided. Gravity returned to normal, and the spatial folds vanished.

"Extract!"

The four Level Three Great Wizards struck simultaneously.

Four immense currents of Spiritual Power, as vast as the sea, formed into giant hands. They plunged deep into the tumor and forcibly ripped out a palm-sized ’scar’ that constantly wept a dark-red ichor.

The scar struggled as if it were alive, its surface writhing with countless tormented, twisted faces.

But it was pinned down by the four currents of Spiritual Power and finally sealed within a Crystal Box.

The Earth Hernia completely stopped pulsating.

The dark-red tumor began to wither rapidly, turning ashen as cracks spread across its surface.

BOOM! The tumor disintegrated.

The dense Demonic Qi scattered like a receding tide, and the concentration of corruption in the air plummeted.

"It’s finally over... I survived..."

A Wizard muttered, his voice trembling with disbelief.

Then, cheers erupted like a volcano, reverberating throughout the subterranean cavern.

Ian, however, did not relax.

His gaze was sharp, scanning the fragments that had been sent flying by the tumor’s disintegration.

A few dark-purple crystals were hurtling in his direction.

’Abyssal Law Crystal Fragments!’

His perspective had broadened ever since he received the information from the Soul Contract.

After a quick glance around, he sent out a Crystal Cone. It precisely wrapped around three of the larger fragments and retrieved them.

They were cold to the touch. Inside, the flow of Rules was chaotic and violent, but their fundamental essence was of an extremely high level.

’A nice haul,’ he thought, quickly stowing the fragments in his Dimension Bag.

The battlefield entered the cleanup stage.

The remaining Mutants were cleared out one by one as the Wizards began to collect their spoils and tend to the wounded.

Ian returned to the Shadow Moon Squad.

Everyone looked exhausted, but their eyes were bright.

"It’s over." Alevia let out a long sigh of relief.

Ian nodded, his gaze deep as he looked toward the sealed ’Original Scar’.

The Demon Hunting, a battle that occurred once every fifty years, was finally over.
