Hmmm..... That thread looks different....

Olivia muttered slowly almost like a whisper. She leaned in, trying to see what kind of thread it was. She traced where that line was heading from one end to the other.

"Why does this thread seem like it has no end?"

she said slowly while furrowing her brows. She stretched her neck to look at the thread. Slowly, but her view was blocked by the fabric of the masked man’s robe. Then that man only watched her calmly without letting out a single word from his mouth.

Hmm... let’s see who survive tonight...

The man whispered quietly, a smile forming behind that mask. He didn’t move. Didn’t make a sound. But his presence... felt like something was waiting for the right moment to destroy everything.

The black hood he wore covered his face so that from Olivia’s perspective, only darkness was visible, but his red glowing eyes were clearly looking toward her. As if he enjoyed watching that situation.

Shifting to Olivia,

As she observed that thread, its length was longer than what she had thought. Olivia frowned, because that thread extended past the black robe that man was wearing. As if the thread was connected to something Olivia couldn’t see.

But she insisted on observing a little longer. To avoid losing her focus, she looked deeper until all the sounds around her grew further and further away.

Crick crick....

The sound of crickets that had been loud and all the sounds around her she could no longer hear. As if something had covered her ears so she couldn’t hear the atmosphere of that room.

Until there was nothing left but silence.

And then,

The thread moved. Writhing... like something alive, trapped and struggling in pain. Like something alive... like it was reacting. Olivia felt something wrong with that thread.

She had never seen anything like this before.. At most they only glowed or shimmered. She tried to understand that situation.

"Huh? What’s wrong with that thread?" she said quietly half whispering.

That thread seemed to react to Olivia’s attention. As if being pulled and trembling slowly. Olivia furrowed her brow.

Before she had time to prepare herself watching that situation, the thread at the end of that man’s feet began releasing its colour, red.... spreading slowly following the line of that thread. That colour caught Olivia’s attention strongly.

Strangely, Olivia’s ears began catching faint whispers, which she was certain came from that thread.

He will kill you... im one of their victim.... .....help me!!...

At first that voice sounded like only one person but, it began to split... becoming more. Some sounded like a man’s voice, but there were also women’s voices. On top of that there were whispers and loud screams. All mixed together, overlapping each other. Olivia’s head began to feel dizzy, heavy and painful.

Olivia slowly shook her head to get rid of her headache. But Olivia’s eyes went wide while staring sharply at that strange thread. She squinted her eyes.

"This isn’t normal.! " she whispered in her heart. She tried to understand but that voice made it hard for her to focus.

Oliviaaa~....

Quiet and silence and then it came again.

Help uss~

That voice reacted again growing louder and louder. As if many people were speaking at the same time. Saying the same thing. But...

Kill that man!~

Those words immediately triggered Olivia’s curiosity. She stared toward that thread.

What man? This man?

She said in her mind. While looking toward that man. She didn’t know whether that was intentionally told to her by them or whether it was one of the signs.

But those voices seemed to hear or understand what was in Olivia’s mind.

He’s above us~

A man’s faint voice was heard from among the moans and screams. One by one they spoke overlapping. Olivia was stunned. She didn’t know that the cause of all this was inside this estate.

Who??? Tell me

She said in her mind with a face asking for sympathy and hoping for more explanation, but that question wasn’t answered.

Be careful Oliviaaa~

One of those voices said before switching to a loud voice. Taking turns. The voices grew stronger and louder. She covered her eyes and ears to avoid hearing those overlapping and loud voices.

Fear began to envelope her whole body.

Her body trembled, her eyes almost letting out tears.

I never thought that.... someone dangerous is inside this estate" she said quietly while staring at that basement floor.

"This place .....become my second home after..... all happen" she smiled thinly. Then,

In a few moments those sounds grew quieter and quieter. Silence...

Then she opened her hands from her ears to look around. She noticed, that thread was no longer loose and red like before but now growing tighter, tense and changing colour. Moving to calm, red becoming darker and darker.

As if that thread had been pulled or tied by something.

Olivia stared at that thread while scratching her wrist that was itchy. The more she scratched the itchier her arm became, until it felt hot. That itch wasn’t on the surface of the skin, but deep into her nerve. Olivia pulled her sleeve roughly. But while she was scratching her wrist,

She could feel something touching her wrist. She didn’t take that seriously and thought positively then lowered her head slightly to look at the state of her hand but, she didn’t see anything, only there were lines on her hand. But she ignored that and went back to looking at that thread.

But for some reason she had a feeling that she might have a connection with that thread.

Why do I feel like I’m connected to those threads?

She said in her mind. She tried to make sense of it.

For some reason she noticed something, throughout her time in this estate she had often seen all kinds of threads.... As if there was a hint that had been given to her.

"This can’t be real!..." she said while staring blankly at that thread.

Olivia’s heart pounded hard, her hands trembling, breath caught with a trembling tone looking at that thread. Her hands began to feel cold, confused about the situation she was going through now. She shook her head as if not believing.

Once again her hand felt itchy, with her unstable emotions she scratched quickly and aggressively until...

"Oww!!..." she said quietly while looking at her hand. How shocked Olivia was when she saw the lines on her hand seemed to be forming something. The scratch marks had formed one very clear line. Her eyes went wide, her whole face sweating until she no longer noticed her sweat flowing.

NO NO NO this can’t be!!

Her voice trembled. And for the first time, Olivia was truly scared.
