The room fell into a heavy silence. Celine’soft breathing could be heard beside her, steady and calm, as if nothing had happened.

But Olivia..she couldn’t move. Her face remained fixed on the wall. The spot where the mark has gone, completely gone without a sign.

"This isn’t right," she wondered. A chill crept down her spine. She struggle to close her eyes but failed.

Her eyes, almost as if drawn by an unseen force, shifted toward the door. Her heart pounded, and for a moment, the room felt eerily silent and cold, pressing in on her from every side. But suddenly her eyes caught something. Her breath catches for half a second.

Her eyes froze on the door. A hand was gripping its edge.Just a hand. As if the rest of it cant even seen because of the darkness. Soon as the door slowly creaked open, revealing the darkness beyond. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Within the darkness, a pair of eyes fixed on her, sharp and unblinking while left hand holding the doorknob. Olivia jolted and try to waking up Celine beside her but It was pointless.

Celine who hugged tightly with her pillow, sleep comfortable but Olivia who beside Celine still fighting against the fear of what lay before her.

She wanted to scream, hoping Celine beside her would wake.But, that pair of eyes slowly walked toward her.

The Footsteps approached, echoing across the room with an unnatural weight. Each step sounded wrong, as if something invisible was forcing them to move.

A sense of dread washed over her. She quickly tried to close her eyes tightly. Her heart pounded ripidly, her lips sealed, sweat ran down her facesweat. Even her eyes closed, she still can sense that eyes gaze piercing at her.

She holding Celine hand as if she scared that things might harmed her. The silence around her deepened the shadows in the room, making it feel suffocating.

She slowly open her eyes. The room was empty. The door stood slightly ajar. Silence...too silent.

"Was it just a dream?" she exhaled shakily. While she still wondering..

The sound came from right beside her..far too close. Her hands clenched the sheets tightly. Fear coiled tightly in her chest. She glanced sideways, a faint change crossing her face.

A woman lay on her back, with her face already turned toward her. She screamed all over that woman face. But her voice was trapped in her throat.

But while looked at that woman, her eyes were hollow,lifeless, as if her real self was trapped somewhere deep within her mind. And yet..those eyes were still staring at her. Olivia begun to crying helpless.

Once she started to crying, she can felt that someone kept shaking her body, as if trying to drag her from something deeper than sleep.

"Olivia! Olivia !,wake up! don’t make me scared". she heard Celine’s voice, whispering softly as she called her name several time while crying. Her gaze slowly focused. Celine was right beside her, clutching her arms tightly. Her shoulders shaking as quiet sobs escaped her lips.

"i’ve been calling you..you wouldn’t wake up..."she whispered,her voice breaking.

Olivia blinked,still dazed,her mand struggling to catch up with reality. Her fingers instinctively tightened around Celine’s hand,as if to conform that she was real.

"...Celine?" her voice came out weakly,almost hoarse.

Celine left her small cry of relief,pulling her into a tight embrace. She looked at the window. Night still long.

"i thought something happened to you" as celine pulled her into a tight embrace,something flickered in Olivia’s vision.

A long ,thin strand, faint. Blurred

Appeared..then disappeared.

Olivia froze. Her eyes slowly shifted, trying to follow it. But it was unstable, like something she wasn’t meant to see yet.

Then

Celine pulled away. At that exact moment, olivia’s gaze dropped to Celine hand. And there it was.

A thin thread, loosely wrapped around Celine’s wrist,

Flickering. Then fading in and out existence.

As if it wasn’t fully there. Olivia shook her head and tried to open and closed her eyes to feel if its just an illusion or real thing. But its once she open her eyes the string still there. She tried to asked Celine.

"can you see that... thread?" while pointing at the thread. She turned her head toward Celine who looked at what she pointing at.

"What thread?" Celine asked Olivia with a dazed, confused look on her face. She slowly waved his hand through the air, as if trying to feel the thread Olivia had mentioned early.

Then, she shook her hand slightly,signaling that there was nothing there. Olivia eyes trembled with fear. She held her head tightly, her thoughts in disarray as she tried to make sense of what she had just seen.

Have I lost my mind....?

she bited her lowed lips then looked at Celine who stared at her intens. The thread still there even if its still glitched she become more depressed.

This is bad..I’ve really gone crazy

No,what if those things really exist, but only i can see them?

She muttered under her breath, then forced herself to calm down and figure it out later. She ran her fingers through her hair,scratching her head even though there was no pain.

While wondered, Exhaustion slowly took over her body, and before she knew it,she had already fallen asleep. She didn’t even have the chance to tell Celine that she was feeling drowsy.

Celine turn her head toward Olivia who fell asleep without telling her. Her eyes turned into a soft and smile.

"maybe she was really tired" she muttered slowly and lay her back on the mistress. She grab her blanket then closed her eyes. Time passed both of them sleep soundly. While both of them sleep soundly. That things slowly passed the coridor with unnormal step.

In another room, two pairs of eyes silently observed the view beyond the glass window. One figure stood behind, while the other sat, while gripping a cane as he slowly stroked his mustache.

" that girl is quite strong,isn’t she?" that person who stroked his mustache opened her mouth while smirking. He tapping slowly his tight lightly,lost in thought for a moment. Then slowly turned his face toward the guys who standing behind him.

" come here" he gestured for the man to approach. Without hesitation, the man walked toward the figure seated before him and lowered his head near that man ear. He whispered something. In an instant, the dull emptiness in his eyes vanished, replaced with life. He panted heavily,glancing around in confusion.

" what are you doing here?" the man seated asking that man who puzzeled. That man looked bewildered expression. He shook his head, as if he also didn’t know why he there.

"im sorry.. I hve no idea why I’m here either" that man said while lowered his head.

A faint,sly smile curved on his lips, as if that was the answer he had been waiting for.. then he told him to go back to his room.

"HMM how long that magic can last longer?" she muttered slowly. Then thinking back.he chukled softly.
