The first thing I felt was warmth.

I checked my hands.

She had not felt them consciously in years. She lay still and let the sensation arrive..

Ten years. I had given him nothing back for ten years.

I tried to move her fingers.

They closed.

Then the other memories arrived, the ones that were not hers, a different body, a different world. She filed them away.. They could wait.

I hoped Ren was alright.

I pressed my palms flat and felt the surface beneath them.

I felt a wave of emotion and stood up from the rag and took my first step.

Due to the excitement of getting a new body which was at least able to move had made me forget one thing.

Or at least that’s what I thought at first. I couldn’t walk because I was bedridden for so long, I forgot how to walk.

I looked around the room to see if I could grab something.

The room was really run-down, with a broken mirror, unkept clothes, no almera, and a broken piece of wood which can’t be called a door.

I pulled myself up with a beam in the middle of the room.

"I have to do something about my legs."

I looked outside the window. It was dark, I had no way of knowing what the time was, but the darkness indicated that it was midnight.

"I should get started, but what do I do? Cardio?"

I started by massaging my legs then doing up and down motion then tried walking, but It didn’t work.

By the morning I had somewhat succeeded in lifting my leg.

"This isn’t natural, I was in hospital for god knows how many years and I never heard of recovery this quick"

It could take at least one week to start moving my leg. My recovery speed is incredible.

I shifted my attention to the window. It was morning.

I made my way to the window.

"What the hell?"

In front of me there was a building so incredibly large that I couldn’t see its loft.

I looked around the area. The tower was surrounded by a square boundary with four sections on each edge and four path ways leading to the tower from four sides, but the tower had only one gate which I could see from my room.

My room or should I say this house was on the right side from the gate. On the opposite edge there was a place with so much crowd.

"Houses? A market!"

It was a market. Right beside it was a barren land with many people dressed in white.

"What are they doing?"

Beside my house was a quiet place where no people could be seen.

"I should step outside."

I made my way to the piece of wood called the door.

"Why is my room like this?"

From what I could guess this place...

This city was well maintained and solid, but my room was opposite. I was on the top floor of the building so the room was hot.

I opened the so-called door and stepped outside.

I was greeted with a corridor leading to a stairs and a room on the opposite end. There was a window on the wall above the stairs. My room was in the middle.

I was curious about the room, but I moved towards the door.

The sound of a door opening, I turned around immediately. And looked at the end of the corridor. The door was open.

"W..Who is there?"

My voice crackled.

"Hello?"

I moved toward the room. The room was dark.

"How? Why is the room dark? There is a window opposite to the room."

The darkness felt like a barrier covering the entrance, hiding what was inside.

Afraid, I decided that I should not approach it.

I turned around and simply ran towards the door.

After reaching the end of the staircase I stopped to collect my breath.

"I should stay away from that room. At least until I find a way to see what’s inside."

I looked around. It was a hall with a bunch of people. Everyone was around my age. They were getting ready to go somewhere.

I approached a girl, she was seemingly confident and looked outgoing.

She looked at me.

She looked at me disgustingly. Then she looked towards an incense table.

She scoffed and turned away.

"What? What is that? Is she making fun of me?"

I wanted to ask its meaning but she ran away.

I thought about what it meant then I remembered something.
