At the door, the manager of the security company and two men who were clearly veterans stood guard, ramrod straight, like three javelins.

The dishes started arriving one by one, and the wine was left to breathe.

Gao Haitao and the two veterans didn’t drink or smoke. Other than necessary replies, they didn’t speak, sitting perfectly straight and displaying excellent discipline.
