’He has to owe me for this one,’ she thought.

Lin Chu shot her a look, shaking his head with an amused smile. "Alright, that’s the one, then. Let’s go see it. If there are no issues, I’ll pay for it."

Even though they’d sold plenty of houses, hearing a client finally agree—and apparently planning to pay in full—the two agents couldn’t suppress their looks of sheer delight.

"Brother Chu, congratulations are in order! A new car, a new mansion... you’re officially putting down roots in Yang City. We have to have a few drinks tonight, don’t we? We have to celebrate?" she asked with a broad smile.

"Sure, why not." It wasn’t the kind of request he would refuse.

She smoothly followed up, "In that case, let’s bring someone along to pour your drinks. We can all head over there together and won’t have to come back to the office afterward."

Hearing this, Lin Chu was momentarily taken aback, then broke into a laugh.
