SSS Awakening: Conquering Worlds with My Cupid System

Back at the Valecrest camp, Mrs. Loraine began reading the list of groupings they’d worked on the night before.

"Victor Wesley. You’ll take Darren Cole, Emma Holt, and Peter Green."

The three quickly moved toward him. Victor looked annoyed, and the three looked terrified—an excellent start.

"Alicia Hart." Three more names were called after, unawakened students.

"Marcus Doyle." Another group formed.

One by one, the groups were assembled. Eventually, the nine awakened, each standing with their assigned members. The atmosphere remained tense, but at least there was structure now. Then a student suddenly raised a hand.

"What about Chloe and Pin- Silas?"

The camp immediately became quiet. Those names carried weight now. Funny how it was also those two who had gone missing. Mr. Fatars exchanged a glance with Mrs. Loraine. Finally, Fatars answered.

"We’ll find them," His voice was firm. "We start searching today, but nobody leaves camp alone."

His gaze swept across the students. "Not one person."

The students nodded. Nobody wanted to become the third missing person. Far away from the camp, however, neither Chloe nor Silas had any idea people were worrying about them. Chloe was currently walking through a frozen wasteland after exterminating an entire wolf pack. Silas was wandering through a forest with a seven-foot-tall orc who proudly shared his surname.

Both were unknowingly becoming stronger, and both were heading toward something that would make the current problems of the camp seem laughably small.

Silas met one of his problems pretty quickly. He didn’t know whether it was some unknown being messing with him or just his bad luck. Even at that moment, he thought they’d somehow lost their way and returned to their starting point. They had just stepped out of the forest, their aura and their earlier intense sex scaring away any kind of predator, into an open land of tall grass. The grass was almost as tall as Silas, and there were bound to be monsters hiding and lurking inside. But that was the least of his problems because that land was the camp of 8-foot-tall green creatures having a feast of six deer. The creatures had green skin, tusks, looked pretty ugly, and of course... dangerous. One of them stood out.

It was a giant even for an orc with a three-skull necklace hanging around its neck like trophies and tribal marks adorning its body. The moment the two stepped foot on the land, its nose flared, and it turned its giant gaze upon them. This was the second time it had smelled them, and they reeked of sex. EVERY SINGLE TIME!

"GRAAAAAAAAAA!" The orc chieftain roared in frustration, its gaze piercing right into Silas’s skull.

"I, Groka, will kill you and eat your flesh raw, ugly human!" The chieftain, Groka, declared as it stood up, towering over both Silas and Gromda, his daughter.

"Fath-" Gromda tried to speak, but Groka cut her short.

"I will destroy both of you."

[Well, this one seems pretty fluent.]

’Are you for real, dude?!’

[Just saying. Anyway, you got yourself a one-on-one fight. Prove yourself to the orcs and to Gromda, establish dominion, and maybe... this would be the first step you take to conquering a world.]

’I understand the first part, but what the hell has conquering got to do with this?!’

[Initiating Prime Cupid Objective!]

[Assimilating...]

’What the fuck?!’

"Don’t ignore me, ugly human!" Groka roared in anger, his green eyes flaring.

"Sorry about that, buddy, but I’m anything but ugly," Silas replied to him with a mocking tone, making the other orcs look at him in disbelief. Just who was this human?

"You are ugly, just like my failure of a daughter. She disgusts me," Groka said, spitting with disdain and disgust spread over his face like wallpaper.

"You should get your eyes and your brain checked, ugly brute. Your perception of beauty is as dirty as that necklace on your neck. Are you trying to strangle yourself? Do you have suicidal tendencies?" Silas shot back, his face clearly showing anger.

"You-"

"Has any one of your stupid goons told you that you smell? Even flies are afraid to get close to you. Oh... wait, you all smell so bad that you can’t differentiate. I wonder how you even smelled us out in the first place."

Gromda and the other orcs stared at Silas in shock. The guy’s mouth was as dirty and sharp as it could get. They even felt bad for Groka.

"I WILL KILL YOU!" Groka roared, grabbing a huge club that was as tall as Gromda.

"Brush your yellow teeth first."

[Assimilation Complete!]

At that same time, a club descended on top of them. Silas’s Thread Perception activated automatically. He grabbed Gromda by the waist and jumped out of the way of the club. A cloud of dust, soil, and grass flew up in the air as a 10-meter-wide crater formed where they had stood seconds ago.

Silas turned to Gromda with a serious expression, but before he could talk, she spoke with a smile.

"I don’t mind. If you can kill him, do it. If you can’t, let’s run, okay?" Her vocabulary was fluent, so both the system and its host were shocked.

"You can speak fluently?!" Silas asked, ignoring the raging Groka.

"No. I can’t. Hehe," Gromda chuckled cutely.

"I will get back to you. Now, let’s deal with this fat idiot," Silas said, kissed Gromda on the lips, causing Groka to roar again, and turned towards him.

"System. Analyze him."
