Zich leaned forward slightly as the marketplace interface remained open before him, and while the earlier listings still scrolled past in an endless stream.
His focus had shifted from observation to action because testing the system directly would tell him far more than reading what others had written. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
He exhaled slowly, and his eyes moved across several categories again, not only looking for value but also trying to understand how other players priced things, and how demand seemed to shift depending on the layer, the race, and the rarity of the item.
’First purchase would confirm the system’s response time, but with my current resources, I cannot waste anything,’ he thought, scanning through listings that showed items priced in gold coins, a few in dollars, and only the rarest in soul stones.
He stopped when a particular listing caught his attention.
[Skill Scroll — Blink]
The description was simple, and the seller had not wasted words, but the meaning behind it was clear enough to make Zich’s eyes narrow.
[Short burst teleportation. Limited range. Instant activation.]
Just like the description, the listed price was not small either.
[20 Soul Stones]
When he saw the aburb amount, he let out a quiet breath, not knowing whether to laugh or reconsider his priorities.
A skill like that would change how he approached every fight, allowing him to reposition, dodge lethal attacks, and close distance without warning, but the cost alone made it unreachable for someone who had only just entered the mountain.
’Worth it, but not now.’
He scrolled past it, even though his gaze lingered for a moment longer than necessary. His attention shifted back to the broader listings where most items were still priced in gold coins, which made the contrast even clearer.
Most players were still operating at the lower tier of trade.
Soul stones were the real currency.
Soul stones were also sold, and on cost about 5,000 gold coins. In dollars, which were used by humans, it was a whopping 20,000 dollars.
That meant if he traded all five of his soul stone, he would be able to acquire 100,000 dollars.
Sucking in a deep breath to control himself, he clicked on the category tab, and the system expanded a structured overview.

Zich read through it slowly, and while most of it confirmed what he had already guessed, one section made him pause longer than the others.
Summon Board.
He tapped it.
A new interface opened. Unlike the others, this one carried additional rules, almost as if the system itself wanted to clarify boundaries before anyone made a mistake.
Summon Board Rules
• A player can list their bonded companion for RENT or SALE
• Renters receive temporary command access
• The owner retains override authority at all times
• Evolution and permanent bonding are restricted
Zich’s fingers tapped lightly against the table.
’So my guess was right. Whatever created this place had already thought of it...’
His eyes narrowed slightly. Renting out summons was not only possible, but it was also protected, which meant the risk of losing control was minimal as long as the contract was structured correctly.
He leaned back and considered the implications.
A summon could fight, scout, defend, and even act as a distraction. While most players relied on their own strength or party members, having access to an extra combat unit would be valuable, especially for those who lacked frontline capability.
’Demand will exist. The question is pricing and perception.’
Summoners were looked down on, as he had read in many novels in the past, and that trend held here as well. Players would not immediately value what he had. That also meant starting low would draw attention faster than aiming for profit from the beginning.
Zich opened the listing interface.
A blank field appeared.
He stared at it for a moment, and then his fingers moved.
[Silverback Ape — Level 2
Skill: Heavy Swing]
Yes, after the dungeon run and the fight with the undead dragon, the Silverback Grunt had reached level 2, while Blood Leech had reached level 3 and Slimy level 4.
[Description: Monstrous build and capable of tanking damage]
He paused after typing it, his eyes scanning the text once before deciding not to add anything unnecessary, because overexplaining would only raise suspicion or expectations he did not want yet.
[Price: 100 Gold Coins]
Zich confirmed it without hesitation.
The moment he entered the price, another panel appeared, and this one made him sit forward slightly.
[Select Demonstration Clip]
Several short clips appeared on the screen showcasing the Silverback Grunt.
Zich frowned slightly as he opened one.
The view shifted instantly. He was no longer looking at the interface but through a perspective that felt strangely familiar.
After a brief moment, he realized he was seeing from the Silverback Grunt’s point of view, watching its own arms move as it swung its club at a juvenile ape.
’This...’
He opened another clip, and this time it showed the moment the grunt clashed with an elite ape in the corridor, the heavy swing connecting with enough force to send fragments flying across the stone floor.
Zich leaned back slowly, not knowing whether to be impressed or unsettled by this.
’The system records everything... how?’
The thought lingered longer than he expected. If the system could record, categorize, and present these moments so cleanly, it meant there was a level of control far beyond what most players understood.
’Damn... the more time I spend here, the more powerful this nameless entity seems to be,’ he thought, shaking the idea out of his head before selecting the best clip.
It showed the grunt engaging two enemies at once, holding its ground while delivering repeated strikes, which highlighted both durability and offensive capability without exposing its weaknesses too clearly.
After confirming, the interface returned to the listing page.
He reviewed everything one last time and then changed the seller name field.
[Master Shroud]
Zich exhaled slowly and pressed confirm.
’Let’s see if this works.’
For a brief moment, nothing happened.
No notification, no immediate response, just the quiet interface showing his item among hundreds of others.
He leaned back in his chair and rested his arm on the table, his gaze fixed on the screen as he waited.
