Arthur looked at Helen and placed the report on the table.

"Tell me everything you know."

Helen was silent for a few seconds. She knew her father wasn’t asking casually. As her father, he was worried about her. As the Association President, he had already begun evaluating Zich’s worth.

"He’s cold," Helen said. "And greedy. He has an unpleasant mouth, and he’s hiding a lot of things. But he’s very sharp. He notices problems before other people do."

Arthur didn’t interrupt her.

Helen continued, "The Knight Captain, the Soulstone Passage, the Bone Giant’s weakness. In many critical situations, he was the first to notice them. He has also saved me more than once."

A slight change appeared in Arthur’s eyes.

"You trust him?"

"But you’re still speaking up for him."

"Because he’s...," Helen said as if looking for the right words. "More reliable than many people who pretend to be righteous."

Arthur looked at her and suddenly smiled.

"That’s a dangerous evaluation."

"I know."

Arthur opened another file.

Son of a graveyard caretaker. No guild. No sponsor. Newly awakened. Moved into a luxury estate in the Privileged District within a short period of time. Possesses multiple abnormal summons.

None of those things were strange on their own, but together, they were highly unusual.

Arthur had already received his answer. He didn’t press further and simply closed the file.

"People like him can’t be casually suppressed," he said. "Push too hard, and you’ll only drive him away. He needs to be kept somewhere we can see."

Helen frowned, a glint of concern appearing in her eyes.

"What are you planning to do?"

"I’ll attend tomorrow’s report meeting personally."

"Father."

Arthur’s expression softened.

"Relax. I just want to meet the young man who has you so worried."

"I’m not worried."

"Then I’ll go meet the person you’re not worried about."

Helen had no response to that.

"Promise me you won’t be too hard on him?" She looked at him with pleading eyes.

Arthur stroked her head and said, "I promise."

Meanwhile...

After taking a shower, he sat at the dining table wearing a clean robe. His hair was still slightly damp. The spatial bag rested on the table. The moment he opened it, a faint glow spilled out.

He didn’t look excited yet. Instead, he took out the Soulstones one by one.

The ordinary blue Soulstones were placed in one row. The pale Soulstones were arranged in another.

Besides those, there were Corrosion Ores, Spiritized Leather, Gray Dragon Knight Buckles, and the Soulstone of the Devouring Bone Giant.

The table was quickly filled with loot.

As Zich looked at everything, his mood finally improved.

Today had been troublesome. He had nearly died several times and attracted the attention of far too many people. But the rewards were equally astonishing.

He reached out and straightened a row of Soulstones.

One of them was slightly crooked, so he adjusted it again.

"That’s much better," he muttered.

Slimey bounced lightly beside the chair. Its round eyes remained fixed on the Soulstones.

It didn’t understand their value, but it could sense that Zich was in a good mood.

Zich glanced down at it.

"You did well today."

Slimey’s entire body froze.

The next moment, it bounced excitedly several times in a row and nearly crashed into the table leg.

"Don’t get too proud," Zich added.

Slimey was still very proud!

Zich began counting everything.

Ordinary Soulstones were the most numerous. Pale Soulstones were fewer.

That thought reminded him of the remaining balance on the mansion.

"I’ve already paid half. I need to balance the rest."

He clicked his tongue in annoyance. Paying money always felt unpleasant, even when he could afford it. Still, owing money was worse because it gave other people an excuse to come looking for him.

So the first thing he did was head towards the estate agent and pay the remaining balance.

Zich looked at the notification and relaxed.

"One less problem."

Back in his mansion, after dealing with that, he separated a small bag of ordinary Soulstones.

The real world needed money too. His parents still lived on the edge of the graveyard, a damp and remote place where people spent their days dealing with corpses.

Before, there had been no choice.

Now there was.

He packed away the Soulstones he planned to exchange and locked all the special materials into a separate box.

The Devouring Bone Giant’s Soulstone was placed in the deepest corner, untouched for now.

Once everything was finished, Zich leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes for a moment.

Soon, he logged out of Ascension Mountain.

When he opened his eyes again, he was back in his room in the real world.

There was no luxurious bed here. No automatically heated bath. No quiet courtyard.

Only an ordinary wooden desk, old walls, and the faint sound of his father’s booming voice somewhere in the distance.

There had been something he had been willing to test out for quite a while, and that was whether he would be able to bring his items from Ascension Mountain into the real world.

Zich wished to bring out his spatial bag, and it appeared before him.

’Just like I thought.’ He beamed a smile, dipping his hand and touching the Soulstones.

A thought suddenly struck him.

"If I could bring out items, can I also bring out my summons?"
