Ruling The World With Mind Control

Kyle didn’t rush toward the table.

Instead, he leaned against a shadowed pillar in the guild hall, observing the five adventurers—three men, two women, all with the weathered look of seasoned adventurers.

Their weapons were powerful and definitely enchanted, and the scratches on their armor showed their experience.

At the center sat a woman with a small scar running through her eyebrow—clearly the leader. She was leaning over a map, her finger tracing a route.

"...the cave’s been swallowing patrols whole. No survivors. Guild’s calling it C-rank, but there’s a chance there might be a boss. We’ll need—"

Kyle stepped into their table, his presence cutting her off mid-sentence. Five pairs of eyes snapped to him—suspicion etched on every face.

"Hey," he said lightly. "Mind if I ask something?"

The leader’s eyes moved over Kyle with measured scrutiny, taking in his posture, his badge, the dagger at his side.

"Yes?" she said.

"I’m looking to join a party," Kyle continued calmly. "Are you guys taking anyone else?"

She didn’t hesitate. "No... Our group’s already full." 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Kyle smiled—not the strained kind, not defensive. Just amused.

"Fair enough." He tilted his head slightly. "Then how about joining as a porter."

"We already have someone for that." She gestured with her finger.

A young man sat at the edge of the table, hands resting awkwardly on a heavy pack. He didn’t seem particularly strong, just an ordinary porter.

Kyle’s eyes flicked toward him. Then, without changing his tone, he said, "You sure? I don’t think he wants to take this job."

At the same moment, Kyle’s eyes flared crimson, sending a few commands to the young porter’s mind.

The porter blinked. then, he straightened suddenly.

"Actually..." He laughed weakly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah. You know what? I don’t think I’m up for this one."

Everyone froze.

"What?" the leader said.

"I mean—" the man continued quickly, standing up, "It’s probably better if I sit this out. You guys don’t need dead weight."

He set the pack down carefully, almost relieved. Then, he add, already backing away. "Uh... good luck,"

Kyle stepped aside without a word, letting the young man pass.

And just like that—he left, under the shocked eyes of the rest of the party.

For just a moment, silence settled over the table.

One of the party members—a sexy woman with a big breasts—raised his eyebrow. "Well... that was surprising."

Kyle chuckled. "Lucky for you, I’m excellent at carrying things." His eyes lingered on her chest. "Heavy things."

The leader sighed and then looked back at Kyle. "Are you sure you want to become a porterin our party?"

"I’m sure." Kyle answered with a smile.

The leader turned her gaze to the rest of the party. "Do you want him to join our party as a porter?"

The priest nodded. "No problem."

One of the women raised an eyebrow, studying Kyle with renewed interest. "He doesn’t look useless."

A young man with a shield, smiled at the leader and nodded. "As long as it’s the leader’s decision."

The leader smiled at him warmly. Then she looked back at Kyle. "You may sit down."

Kyle sat quietly on the empty seat that the previous porter had left a little while ago.

"I am the leader of this team, you can call me Alara."

The leader was beautiful, in her late 20s, with black hair tied in a ponytail, with a small scar on her eyebrow. Her armor was hugging her curves that’d made half the guild stare.

"You can call me Weston. I am a priest, so come to me whenever you are hurt."

The priest was middle-aged with short chestnut hair, wearing a traditional white priest’s robe with a soft smile on his face.

"Welcome to the team! I’m Mira, a mage."

The mage was strikingly beautiful with her blonde hair and green eyes. She looked mature with her large chest, which the white dress couldn’t fully cover.

"I’m a tank... my name is Leo."

Finally, the tank with its silver armor. His blue eyes looked like the sea, but what drew the most attention was his short height.

Kyle looked at them and studied them for a few moments. Then he smiled faintly. "I’m Kyle."

Inside, he was laughing. `Of course I know who you all are.`

The status screens were hovering in front of his eyes.

Kyle smirked. For the past three days, he had been studying the different parties in the guild that matched his level.

He knew that he would need a party for advanced missions. After all, he had no experience in hunting monsters or fighting in general.

For this reason, he seriously searched for a suitable party. In the end, this party caught his attention.

He had been watching them for a while, studying their style, personalities.

Each had stats far exceeding kyle’s, with Strength and Endurance in the 30s or higher, but their intelligence stats are lower than him.

And of course, the main reason he chose this party specifically is because of the women.

Kyle’s eyes fell on Alara’s body and Mira’s breasts. `I will have a lot of fun with them~`

The leader looked at him, her eyes narrowing. "By the way... what’s your actual class? You’re not just a porter, right?"

"Oh, definitely not... I’m an assassin."
