A cold, moon-like arc split from Amon’s sword, rushing wildly in the direction of the lady.

Vela’s pupils shrank slightly as she noticed the sword arc heading in her direction, but she didn’t panic.

Her sword pierced through the air, the sound ringing out as though it had encountered a physical object.

Instantly, her sword stabbed directly at the middle of the moon arc, causing it to explode.

Amon had let go of his sword, and the moment she pierced him, his hands had clasped her head tightly, pulling it with brutal force.

Vela’s eyes were wide with shock as fear blossomed in her heart. Faintly, she could guess what Amon was trying to do...

She yanked her sword out and drove it back into his stomach, trying to force him to release her.

But Amon didn’t budge.

A low growl escaped him as he dragged her head back with savage force.

Repeatedly stabbing Amon, Vela struggled to break free, but it was all to no avail under his iron grip.

Blood appeared at the corner of Vela’s lips as she stared at Amon.

At last, something snapped as Amon tore Vela’s head free from her body.

The horror was clearly reflected in her eyes, which were still in Amon’s grasp.

Amon stared at it for a brief second... and felt nothing.

He tossed it to the side and heaved repeatedly.

When he held the gash in his chest previously, he noticed the flesh beneath his fingers wriggling.

As such, he quickly made the connection and understood his unique physique had the ability to heal his injuries.

Feeling a sense of exhaustion and hunger, Amon understood that it likely consumed an exorbitant amount of mana to heal him.

Still, a gratified expression appeared in Amon’s eyes as he let out a breath.

Ignoring the injuries on his body, he walked a few meters forward and dragged the corpse of the man from before.

Pulling both parts of his body, he dragged it towards the location of the woman who had died.

Finally, digging his hand into the pockets of his coat, he took out a bottle.

Pouring its contents, Amon took out a lighter, then tossed it onto the bodies.

’Another group of people who tried to harm my family is dead.’ Amon said silently in his heart, staring at the fire for a moment longer before swiftly leaving.

He made a few turns, including purchasing a new set of clothes and cross-checking to ensure no one was following him before heading back home.

Amon thought no one had borne witness to the commotion, but someone had.

Holding a phone in his grasp, a youth with wide eyes filled with horror and shock gasped.

His hands trembled as he whispered,

He looked around to be sure there was no one present.

Then, unable to suppress his excitement, he quickly navigated to his social media pages and posted the video with an interesting caption.
