Overpowered Hero In Search Of Battle!

Baro had led the attack, charging forward as the Behemoth was still in disarray. It had kept on slamming its tail over and over on the ground, constantly making the entirety of the dungeon shake! The Behemoth was in great pain!

Baro drew closer, swinging his great sword and digging it deep into his last forefront leg.

Craft had readied his bow, pulling the string back and then let go. Aiming at the right eye of the beast. He had hit the Behemoth’s eye with great accuracy.

Rosianne had opened her palm.

「рёв, гром!」

Above the Behemoth’s head, thunder had formed, striking and burning this gigantic beast!

"GRAHWWRRRR!" The Behemoth had been faced with constant pain! Just then, he lifted his body, raising the forefront of his one last leg; Baro was still holding onto his greatsword, now with two hands.

He had been clutching onto his greatsword as he was flung into the air, he couldn’t let go, or else he’d fall from a great height and be gravely injured.

The Behemoth had turned its body around, sweeping the whole room with its tail; it had hit Rosianne with great impact! Sending her flying, making her back hit the wall with great force, knocking her unconscious.

Craft turned in her direction, seeing her now lying in a pool of blood.

"Rosianne!" Craft exclaimed, running towards her to check if she was still alive. Her pulse was faint.

"I’ll kill you!" Craft shouted; he then wielded his dual blades, running towards the monster at great speed.

The Behemoth had then charged forward, running towards Craft. At that moment, Baro had dug his sword out, escaping. Both the Behemoth and Craft charged forward!

The Behemoth had lowered its head, having its gigantic mouth open, destroying even the floor. Its teeth were sharp, easily being able to crush even the strongest of A-Class monsters! Craft had still charged forward! They both met, clashing! The teeth of the Behemoth, or Craft’s blades, what would give out first?

"Craft, keep its mouth open!" Baro shouted.

"Tch! I will!" Craft had struggled, his muscles shaking. He used every fibre of his strength.

Baro had run inside the mouth of this beast!Still wielding his greatsword, he began cutting the inside of his mouth quickly and with great force, then planting his sword into the tongue of this monster, pinning it to the bottom of his mouth.

Tears of pain had swelled up in the monster’s eyes.

Rosianne had slowly became conscious. Her vision gradually went from blurry to focused. However, her left arm was broken and bloodied. She couldn’t stand up straight. Even so! Her eyes were fixated on the enormous monster. She then used her right arm, lifting it horizontally and steadily. Pointing her index finger straight at the monster, aiming between the eyes. In a weak voice, she mumbled to herself. "...This is the last of my magic..."

Magic had gathered, and sparks had then produced from her index finger. A thin, and sharp bolt of lightning formed.

It released and travelled quicker than the eye could perceive. Going through the fur, skin and dense bone of the monster. Penetrating the skull and leaving a hole right through its brain. Blood had spewed out. The Behemoth fell unconscious. Forever.

Rosianne had then passed out.

Finally, the battle was won!

"Rosianne!" Both Baro and Craft screamed out, running towards her now unconscious bloodied body.

"Craft, stay with Rosianne, tend to her wounds. I’ll see how Arthur’s doing."

"Leave it to me!" Craft replied, getting a bag full of supplies, bandaging, cleaning and tending to her broken arm.

"Arthur! Wake up!"

Arthur slowly opened his eyes up.

"Did you guys beat the monster? Is everyone ok?" Arthur asked with great concern. Baro replied by looking down, with great pain in his eyes.

Arthur stood up and rushed towards the room that now had the corpse of the Behemoth. In his vision, he saw a severely injured Rosianne.

"Rosianne!" Arthur rushed over.

"Do you know any healing magic?" Craft had asked with urgency.

"No, I don’t...I’m sorry for being so useless!" Arthur was mad at himself. Angered at the fact he couldn’t do more, seeing Rosianne unconscious and severely wounded had made him filled with regret.

He punched the ground over and over and over! Again and again and again! His knuckles became bloodied. His teeth clenched. His eyes were full of anger and remorse.

"Why...Why am I so weak?!" A tear ran down his face.

Baro walked over towards Arthur, placing his hand on his shoulder.

"Arthur! There was nothing more you could do...you did enough." He said in an attempt to comfort Arthur.

"No... you’re wrong, Baro; I could’ve not passed out...I could’ve helped."

"Arthur! Enough! You passing out couldn’t be helped! You did more than enough!" Craft had exclaimed to Arthur.

Arthur looked down at Rosianne, his voice now silenced by his overwhelming frustration and guilt.

"I’ll never let this happen to anyone I care about again!" he vowed silently to himself.
