The inside of the luxury sedan was stifling, the smell of expensive leather mixed with the electric tension radiating between the two occupants. Outside the city lights blurred into long neon streaks of gold and blue, but inside the world had shrunk to the space between Mike and Madison.

Madison sat in the passenger seat, her knuckles white around her designer handbag. Her long, blonde hair tumbled down her shoulders like a curtain of silk, partly hiding a face twisted with a mixture of rage and plain, unmitigated terror.

Every time she glanced at Mike, her eyes flashed with a hatred so potent it could burn, but it was a powerless rage the kind felt by a trapped animal that knows the predator holds the key to its cage.

Mike, however, looked as though he were merely enjoying a leisurely drive to a high-end lounge. His tanned, muscular arms rested casually on the steering wheel, his red hair catching the passing streetlights.

He looked every bit the victor. "It’s been a while since I drive a car... maybe I need to start buying one again soon."

When he said that, Madison didn’t answer at all other than looking away.

"Aww... What’s wrong now...?"

"You’re awfully quiet, Madison," Mike said, his voice smooth, dripping with a nonchalant dominance that grated on her nerves. "Thinking about the headlines?"

"Or are you thinking about how Kyle’s little reputation would shatter if those videos hit the internet?"

"Don’t you dare speak his name with that filthy mouth of yours," she hissed, her voice trembling despite her attempt at steel. "You’re a fucking monster!"

"You know this is wrong, and that’s what makes you a goddamn parasite for this country, Mike!"

Mike didn’t flinch; if anything, her venom seemed to amuse him. He let out a short, dark chuckle.

"Wrong? Who cares about ’wrong’ when ’right’ looks this good?"

Without warning, he reached over with his right hand, leaving his left to navigate the car. He didn’t just touch her, but he claimed her. His large, warm hand slid up her thigh, his fingers digging firmly into the soft flesh just above her knee.

The contact was electric and invasive. And then Madison gasped, a sharp, involuntary sound, and tried to recoil, but there was nowhere to go in the cramped luxury of the car.

"S-Stop it!" she commanded, though it sounded more like a plea. "We aren’t there yet!"

"We’re already there," Mike countered, his thumb beginning to stroke slow, rhythmic circles against her skin, moving higher toward the hem of her skirt.

He leaned closer into her personal space, his presence overwhelming her senses. "The moment you stepped into this car, you belonged to the deal..."

"And the deal is simple... you give me what I want, and maybe... MAYBE your precious little secret stays buried."

He squeezed her thigh harder, his grip possessive and unapologetic. He could feel the tension in her muscles, the way she vibrated with a cocktail of hatred and forced submission.

He loved it. And he also loved that she hated him, because that hatred only made the eventual breaking of her will so much sweeter.

Madison turned her head away, staring out the window at the passing shadows, her jaw clenched so tight it ached. A single tear of frustration pricked her eye, but she refused to let it fall.

She was a star actress known as Madison Reed. But as Mike’s hand continued its slow, torturous ascent, she realized that in this car, she wasn’t an icon or an actress. She was just a woman being toyed with by a man who played by no rules at all.

"Just wait until we get to the hotel," Mike whispered near her ear, his breath hot against her skin. "I have a very long night planned for you... and you’re going to love every second of hating it."

An elegant sedan pulled up at the grand entrance of the hotel, the valet rushing to open the door as though he could sense the volatile energy that emanated from the car.

Mike stepped out with predatory grace, oozing confidence with every movement. And then came Madison, who stepped out like a prisoner led to a gilded cell.

As they entered the lobby, Mike approached the concierge with an air of absolute authority. He didn’t ask, but he commanded.

"One room," Mike said. "The most exclusive one you have."

"We only need it for a few hours, just a short stay," he said, flashing that signature, dangerous smile.

Madison, standing a half step behind him, felt a flicker of something that wasn’t pure hatred for the first time since this nightmare began.

’A few hours?’ she thought, her heart hammering against her ribs. ’Thank God.’

’If he had booked a full night, the sheer weight of the humiliation would have crushed me. A few hours means this is a transaction.’ Madison thought. ’A quick, brutal exchange of power... Once he has what he wants, he leaves, and I can pretend this filthiness never happened.’

But as they entered the elevator upward in a silence so thick that it felt physical, the small sense of relief began to sour. She looked at his reflection in the polished gold of the elevator doors.

She can see that he looked so calm, so unbothered by the moral wreckage he was causing.

’He’s a devil,’ Madison thought, her gaze burning into his profile. ’He’s not even doing it because he loves me or wants me.’

’He’s doing it because he can... Because he knows he has the leverage to strip away every ounce of dignity I’ve spent years building.’

’He’s playing with me like a cat plays with a mouse, watching me squirm before he finally decides to bite.’

She looked down at her hands, which were trembling despite her best efforts to remain composed. ’And Kyle... poor, sweet, oblivious Kyle.’

’Would he still love me if he knew that Mike was buying his future with my shame? Or would he see me as just another piece of property Mike is trading?’

The elevator chimed, announcing their arrival at the top floor. The doors slid open to reveal a sprawling, opulent-looking suite with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the glittering skyline.

Mike stepped into the room first, tossing his keys onto a marble tabletop with a loud clack. He turned back to her, his eyes dark and hungry, scanning her body with a blatant disrespect that made her skin crawl.

"Don’t look so relieved, Madison," Mike said, reading her mind with terrifying accuracy.

He began unbuttoning his cuffs, his voice dropping to a low, gravelly tone. "The shorter the reservation, the faster we get to the good part."

"And trust me... we aren’t rushing a single thing."

Madison stepped into the room, the heavy door clicking shut behind her like the locking of a vault. She felt the walls closing in.

She really, deeply hated him, but when she looked at his muscular frame against the city lights, she felt a traitorous urge to react to his strong presence.

’I am an actress,’ she told herself desperately as she began to reach for the zipper of her dress. ’This is just a role... I’m in a role where the stakes are my entire life.’

Mike leaned back against the mahogany sideboard, crossing his thick, tanned arms over his chest. He watched her with the eyes of a connoisseur inspecting a piece of art he intended to vandalize.

"Before we begin the actual business," Mike said, his voice cutting through the heavy silence of the suite, "go get cleaned up."

"Take a good shower, and get all that city grime off your skin."

Madison blinked, her defensive walls momentarily lowered by the unexpectedly mundane suggestion. "A shower? That’s it? You want me to wash up before you... before you start?"

"Exactly," Mike replied, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "But there’s a condition."

Madison stiffened, her eyes narrowing. "There’s always a condition with you..."

"What is it?"

Mike straightened up, his height and muscular build suddenly feeling much more imposing in the intimate space of the suite. He took a slow step toward her, forcing her to tilt her head back to maintain eye contact.

"When you come out of that bathroom... don’t bother using a robe or a towel." Mike grinned. "Just walk out here naked, and I mean it... completely bare!"

For a moment, Madison was speechless. The sheer audacity of the request made her blood boil.

"Are you FUCKING insane?!" she snapped, her voice rising in indignation. "We are in a hotel, Mike, not a locker room!"

"Have some goddamn respect! I’m not some... some cheap escort you can just parade around!"

"Respect?" Mike laughed, a dry, mocking sound that echoed off the high ceilings.

He moved even closer, until she could feel the heat radiating from his body. He reached out, his large hand cupping her chin, forcing her to look at him.

"You fucking lost the right to ’respect’ the moment you let me catch you in that video, Madison."

"Right now... you aren’t a starlet but a woman who owes a debt."

"It’s humiliating!" she whispered, her eyes shimmering with a mix of anger and tears. "To walk out like that... in front of you... it’s indecent!"

"Indecent is what happens if those videos hit the internet," Mike countered, his thumb brushing roughly against her lower lip.

His gaze dropped to her chest, lingering there with unapologetic hunger. "Walking out here naked is just the price of admission."

"Think of it as a rehearsal for your new life."

"You want to keep your status clean right? Then learn to play the part I’ve written for you."
