No one expected Margaret to appear.

Victor was startled to be scolded. He frowned slightly before asking, "What are you planning to do?"

It wasn’t that he hadn’t reflected on her words—but her sudden appearance clearly wasn’t just to lecture him.

Before answering, Margaret tossed the skull-pendant necklace toward him.

"Keep it. It’s from a close friend of mine from the Ancient Demon Continent. It’s called the Necklace of Hate. It can seal the souls of the dead who hate you and absorb their hatred and resentment, turning it into power you can use to strengthen yourself."

Victor was genuinely surprised.

After saying that, Margaret shifted her gaze toward Ella.

She pointed at Lukas.

"If you can’t do it, go back home. I won’t give you another chance. You should understand—if you stand by my side, I might one day ask you to kill even your own parents... or slaughter your entire clan."

The mayor trembled, his face flushed with fear.

Of course, he understood—such a fate would only come if they dared oppose her.

Ella stood frozen.

She was clearly struggling, questioning whether she could truly walk this path after everything that had happened.

Looking at Lukas, memories flooded her mind.

"Oh, and remember—your lover won’t truly die. The Necklace of Hate will seal his soul after you kill him. He may still have a chance to recover in the future," Margaret added suddenly.

He had made his decision.

"Lukas is his grandson."

"Hahaha! Hernandez, how about I keep you company?"

A booming laugh echoed from within the city.

Another old man appeared—tall and muscular, his body resembling solid rock. Suddenly, his form expanded massively, growing larger than Russell City itself.

A gigantic hammer, even larger than mountains, appeared in his hand.

He swung it toward the storm.

BANG!

The storm was struck and blasted far away.

"You stone brat—how dare you?!" Ancestor Hernandez roared in fury.

"Who are you calling a brat? You’re only a few eras older than me. You should start calling me senior!" Master Stone retorted before charging forward.

The two figures clashed, their battle quickly moving far away from Russell City—yet its impact remained terrifyingly clear.

Shockwaves rolled in continuously, though thankfully blocked by the city’s formation. Otherwise, the city would have already been reduced to ruins.

Everyone let out a breath of relief.
