Synopsis

Young Irwin has lived a life full of nothing but bad luck. Sickly and overlooked, he’s never had much going for him—until the day his older brother finally returns home with a mysterious magical card meant for him.

That should be the moment everything changes. But whether it changes for better or worse… is another question entirely.

Soon after, Irwin is sent away with a group of other youths as an offering to appease a band of sorcerers. The only thing he has is a strange utility card given by his brother—and all he can do now is hope he survives long enough to figure out how to use it.
