"Don’t you say Miss Wang’s guard is going to pick up the scented sachets, Elder Sister?" Xiao Yuyan’s small face was full of confusion.

Xiao Fenghao was still holding a grudge over his younger sister’s earlier kick, so he didn’t let go of the opportunity to nitpick at her. "You aren’t just making trouble, are you, Xi’er?"

Sighing, Xiao Yuxi racked her brains on how to answer their questions. She hadn’t prepared any explanation because her mind was filled with the thoughts of her siblings getting beaten!

No one could beat them but her! Absolutely not allowed.

She scratched the back of her head. "Let’s go home first, and I will explain."

The idea that she knew what would happen beforehand from their youngest sister’s inner thoughts was too absurd, so she couldn’t tell them about it.

"Let’s go back home, Second Brother," Xiao Yuyan decided.

Xiao Fenghao just followed what his younger sisters wanted. The three siblings left the village market and headed home.

"Mother," the Xiao siblings greeted Zhou Anran, who was already waiting at the door for them.

When she spotted her children walking toward the house unscathed, she heaved a sigh of relief. So, her guess must have been correct. Her eldest daughter could hear Little Ya’s inner thoughts!

She just didn’t know whether the other two could hear it too.

"Come inside, I already made lunch for all of you."

They stepped inside the house.

"Little Ya is still sleeping?" Xiao Yuxi asked. She really wanted to give her cute sister a big kiss, if not for the powder she had touched.

Zhou Anran nodded. "She already drank some congee earlier."

She was originally worried about it, but the strange entity that was talking to Little Ya assured her it was normal for her to be lethargic. It was because her youngest daughter had just awakened her previous life’s memories.

From similar habits, like putting her hands below her cheek or the ability to kick her blanket and turned the bed into a mess when she was sleeping, had convinced her that Little Ya was still her daughter.

"Mother," Xiao Fenghao called out, seemingly having something he wanted to talk about.

Zhou Anran shook her head. "Eat first, fill your stomach, and talk later. You all must be hungry."

Xiao Yuxi walked over to them as soon as she finished washing her hands. Whoever had sabotaged their scented sachets was really ruthless. She wondered whether the culprit was involved with the person who had kidnapped her youngest sister, too.

"Xi’er, Yan’er, tell Mother about your finding," he turned to his younger siblings.

Although she already heard about what had happened, Zhou Anran was still shocked when her twin daughters’ recount was similar to the plot in her youngest daughter’s words!

"Mother, if I hadn’t come to save Second Brother and Yan’er, they might have gotten beaten up," Xiao Yuxi muttered.

Her other two siblings’ mouths twitched. Before they could respond, Xiao Yuxi already continued, "Last night, someone kidnapped Little Ya from right under our noses. Then, today, the scented sachets we made have such a problem. I think that the culprit of both incidents should be related."

"I agree with Elder Sister. Little Ya is usually very obedient. It’s also impossible for such a little one to wander alone in the dark as Grandmother claimed..." Xiao Yuyan said, biting her lip.

"It might be Grandmother or Eldest Uncle’s family," Xiao Fenghao snorted.
