“Welcome. Do you have an appointment?”

As soon as they stepped into the store, a butler-like staff member approached them with a respectful smile.

“No,” Chen Mo replied with a slight shake of his head.

“In that case, if you’re looking to have a suit custom-made, I can arrange for a consultant to assist you with the details and help you understand your options.”

“That’s fine.”

“Then please follow me.”

The butler led them to a nearby lounge area.

“Sir, and miss, please have a seat here for a moment. A consultant will be with you shortly.”

Chen Mo glanced around the lounge. The environment was clean and comfortable, but he still felt a bit out of place with the staff’s overly courteous attitude.

Not long after, a tall woman in a casual suit walked over.

“Hello, I’m Linda. If you have any questions about suits, I’ll be happy to help.”

“Chen Mo. I want to custom-order four suits, each priced at 100,000 yuan. Just handle it however you see fit,” Chen Mo said directly, stating his needs without any fuss.

The system had given him a spending limit of 100,000 per suit, and he could order up to four. That totaled 400,000 yuan. While that amount was nothing compared to the tens of millions in System Funds he currently had, every bit spent still counted. Even a mosquito has meat on it, after all.

Linda was momentarily stunned by Chen Mo’s straightforward approach. She had never encountered a customer who ordered custom suits like this before. Quickly regaining her composure, she smiled and began to explain.

Just as he was about to say something, Shen Rou suddenly spoke up.

“President Chen, for four suits, I assume you’re planning to get two more casual ones for everyday wear, and two business suits for formal events and business trips?”

“You know about suits?” Chen Mo looked at her in surprise.

“I’ve done some research.”

“Alright, then I’ll leave it to you to decide what kind of suits to make.”

“President Chen, do you have any specific requirements?” Shen Rou asked cautiously. She had read that capable assistants often needed to help their bosses coordinate their wardrobe for various occasions, including suits.

So, she had taken the time to study suit knowledge and styling in a systematic way.

She hadn’t expected it to come in handy so soon.

“Just go with whatever feels right to you,” Chen Mo said casually. He didn’t care about the details. As long as the money got spent, that was good enough for him.

He didn’t usually wear suits anyway. He still preferred the comfort of casual clothes.

With that, he stood up and began wandering around the store.

The lighting in the store was bright, casting a soft glow over the display suits. The overall atmosphere gave off one clear impression.

This suit shop was high-end. And expensive.

After a brief look around, he found an empty lounge area, sat down, and started scrolling through short videos on his phone out of boredom.

Time passed slowly.

Chen Mo was watching a livestream of a mountain-climbing streamer. One of the big spenders in the chat kept sending gifts to make the streamer backtrack. The poor guy had been climbing for ages and was still stuck at the base of the mountain.

The viewer’s extravagance, the streamer’s frustration—it was both painful and hilarious.

It was pretty entertaining.

But Chen Mo was just watching for fun. As for spending money on gifts himself? No way.

He’d worked hard to save up these few hundred thousand. Better to be frugal.

“President Chen, you’ll still need to try on a sample suit,” Shen Rou said as she approached.

“A sample? I thought they just take measurements?” Chen Mo asked instinctively. Wasn’t it just about choosing the fabric and getting measured?

“President Chen, there are some new styles available. Trying them on helps you see how they look. Once you’ve settled on a style, they’ll take your measurements for the final custom fit,” Shen Rou explained.

Hearing that, Chen Mo had no choice but to get up and follow her.

Before long, the consultant returned with several suits in hand.

Shen Rou took one of them.

“President Chen, try this one first. The fitting room is over there.”

Chen Mo took the suit, glanced at the fitting room in the distance, and walked over reluctantly.

He hadn’t expected getting a custom suit to be this much trouble.

When he came out of the fitting room, Shen Rou stepped forward, gently smoothing the shoulders and sleeves of the suit to check for any imperfections. Once she was satisfied, she stepped back and took a good look at him.

She couldn’t help the flicker of surprise in her eyes. President Chen had always been very handsome.

But in a suit, he usually gave off a laid-back, approachable vibe.

Today, though, with this suit on, his entire aura had shifted.

That easygoing air was replaced by a cool, aloof elegance. The suit accentuated his already striking features, making him look even more refined and attractive.

It was the first time she had seen this side of President Chen.

Consultant Linda also came over. When she saw Chen Mo in the suit, she couldn’t help but exclaim.

“Wow, Mr. Chen, you really suit a suit. You look amazing.”

As she spoke, she quickly circled around him, her eyes scanning him up and down while muttering to herself.

“This suit doesn’t quite fit perfectly. But if we tailor it to your measurements in this style, it’ll be flawless.”

“You’ll also need a pair of dress shoes. Those casual sneakers are ruining the whole look.”

Chen Mo felt a bit uncomfortable being stared at by two women. Dressed in a suit, he walked over to a mirror and began examining himself closely.

“I manage a column for Men’s Uno magazine, and we’re currently looking for a suitable male model. Your looks, presence, and physique are a perfect match. Would you be willing to model for us?”

Chen Mo froze for a moment. Why would he do that? He was just about to turn her down when Linda spoke again.

“We’ll pay you, of course.”
