This wasn’t just a list of unemployed managers and ex-players.

This was his “Talent” section!

Managers who had left and weren’t picked up again—what other reason could there be besides poor performance? No club wanted them.

If he could recruit this person to manage his own club, it would be absolutely perfect.

Then there were the retired players, the older ones—these people were far more reliable than the benchwarmers.

Benchwarmers still had a chance to get on the field. Even if they weren’t great, they weren’t completely useless.

But those who had aged out or officially retired were different.

These were players who had been tested by time and eliminated by the harsh realities of competition.

Their retirement was proof that they could no longer keep up.

If he could convince them to come out of retirement and join his club as Professional Players, that would be a solid move.

Looking over the “Talent” section,

Chen Mo couldn’t help but laugh. He realized that if he could gather all the people listed in this section, he wouldn’t have to worry about his club losing money.

After carefully reviewing everything,

Chen Mo compiled a list of selected candidates on a single sheet of paper.

Of course, the list was arranged in order of priority.

At the top was a man named Yao Beiguo.

Then came the retired Professional Esports Players and other unwanted club managers.

The benchwarmers were at the bottom.

Satisfied with the list, Chen Mo called Shen Rou over.

“I’ve basically finalized the candidates for the club. The list is all on this sheet—start with the names at the top.”

As he spoke, Chen Mo handed her the paper filled with names.

“Get in touch with them as soon as possible. Invite them to join our BL Gaming Club. As for the retired players, send them an invitation too. Reach out and see if they’re open to the idea of returning.”

“Oh, and make sure to prioritize Yao Beiguo at the top. If he’s interested, invite him to the company. I’ll meet with him personally.”

Chen Mo specifically emphasized Yao Beiguo’s name.

“Understood, President Chen. I’ll take care of it right away.”

Shen Rou took the list and returned to her office.

She couldn’t help but feel curious about the kind of “talents” President Chen had selected.

Telemarketing?

He hesitated but answered the call anyway.

“Yes, that’s me.”

“You want me to come in for an interview?”

“Alright.”

A moment later,

Yao Beiguo hung up, stunned. Someone had actually invited him to manage a gaming club.

It felt unreal.

Who in their right mind would want him to be a club manager?

Could it be that the person who contacted him didn’t know about his past—how he had mismanaged not just one, but four clubs? If they really knew his history, why would they still reach out?
