A week passed in the blink of an eye.

Benny spent the entire week staying at Selena’s apartment and doing absolutely nothing productive.

Everything fit neatly into a single bag with room to spare.

Looking at the pitiful amount of clothing he owned, Benny fell silent for a moment.

"I need more clothes."

The conclusion came naturally.

After all, he now had fewer clothes than some people had for a single week.

Satisfied with this realization, he zipped up the bag and slung it over his shoulder.

With packing finished, Benny headed downstairs.

The Mercedes GLS was already parked outside the apartment building.

Since he had nothing else to do, he walked over and waited beside the vehicle.

The morning air was pleasant, and the residential district was unusually quiet.

Standing beside the car, Benny gradually realized that the two women were taking an awfully long time.

At first, he didn’t think much of it.

Then thirty minutes passed.

Then an hour.

Then two full hours.

Only then did Selena and Hong Yueyao finally emerge from the apartment building.

Benny looked at the two of them before silently checking the time.

For the first time in his life, he truly understood something.

Girls took a very long time to get ready.

It was simply a fact.

Watching the two women casually walk toward the car as if nothing unusual had happened, Benny suddenly felt a deep sense of respect.

That was enough time for him play three games yet somehow, they had spent all of it on just getting ready.
