Hogwarts: Harry Potter's Return from the Witcher World

Avallac'h whispered, "Follow this light to the Skellige Isles. It will guide you to Ciri."

Snape raised his wand.

He summoned the light into his hand, inspecting it closely.

"No traces of a curse," he concluded after thorough examination.

Avallac'h looked at Snape urgently. "Hurry. They haven't found Ciri yet, but the moment she leaves that island, the Wild Hunt will be upon her."

Snape tossed the orb of light back to Harry and then walked to the corner, taking out the herbal books from the other world.

"It seems I need to go find Ciri," Harry said quietly.

He waved his wand, conjuring a small bottle, gently placing the orb of light inside. Then his gaze shifted to the bed.

"Keep an eye on him. He may not necessarily be our ally."

Hmm?

Everyone in the room was taken aback.

Harry looked at Geralt. "My dear White Wolf, you were the one who told me this."

Geralt rubbed his head. "Then I suppose I have to trust my own judgment."

"Are you going now?" Dumbledore asked. "Not waiting a bit longer?"

His question hinted at Voldemort's movements.

Crouch and the others were clearly plotting something.

"Finding Ciri won't take long," Harry shook his head. "There's no point wasting time."

"Besides, Hogwarts still has you, Albus."

Dumbledore only nodded, saying nothing further.

Harry reached into the Sorting Hat and pulled out Caranthir.

"Soul Extraction," Snape intoned without hesitation, casting the spell to stabilize the soul extraction.

Avallac'h's eyes went wide.

He stared in disbelief at the man being pulled out of the hat, his breathing growing heavy. As an elder of the Aen Elle elves, he naturally recognized the person before him—the navigator of the Wild Hunt, the golden boy of the Aen Elle.

But why was he here? And almost as disheveled as himself?

"H-He..." Avallac'h struggled to speak.

But his body was still weak, and the surge of emotions overwhelmed him, causing his words to get stuck in his throat.

Harry glanced at him. "A prisoner we captured."

"In fact, we do have the means to fight the Wild Hunt."

Avallac'h's eyes filled with suspicion.

In his understanding, the Aen Elle were incredibly powerful, masters of conquest across worlds—strong and seasoned hunters.

Harry didn't bother explaining, instead turning to look at Hermione.

Hermione stood up, walking to Harry's side.

Caranthir opened a portal.

Harry and Hermione stepped through, disappearing from sight.

"That was... a portal to another world," Avallac'h murmured, his eyes gleaming with realization. He tilted his head. "So that leads to the world where Parselmouth Harry came from?"

"Seems Ciri told you a lot," Geralt said quietly.

Avallac'h nodded. "Of course."

"I suppose we are allies."

He stared directly into Geralt's eyes.

Caranthir had no capacity for independent thought. Unless permitted by Harry, he could only execute commands like a puppet.

The portal led to where they last left: Crow's Perch, the Baron's "castle."

The Bloody Baron's mood hadn't been great lately.

The journey from here to Oxenfurt was a grueling one. Only witchers, powerful sorcerers, or nobles with substantial resources could guarantee a safe round trip. He had sent out three waves of soldiers, and only two waves came back.

The problem was...

The ones who didn't return were part of the first group he sent out.

According to the survivors, the first wave never even saw his daughter, Tamara.

The two that did make it back confirmed they had seen her, but couldn't bring her back.

His daughter had become a devout follower of the Eternal Fire. In a very short time, she had even become an apprentice witch hunter and was now undergoing training.

Damn it.

How did things turn out this way?

He held a bottle of liquor, his face full of anguish.

Suddenly, the white glow of a portal lit up, and three figures stepped out.

The Baron scowled. "Oh, bloody hell, witcher! Do you think my house is your personal garden? You come and go as you please. At least give me a damn heads-up. I am a Baron, after all."

Harry shook his head. "My garden wouldn't have a drunk."

"Aha! Witchers can afford gardens now?" The Baron put the bottle down. "So, what brings you here? Finally ready to handle my problem?"

Harry shook his head. "Not quite yet. I returned to prepare for finding Ciri."

"This time, I intend to bring her back."

The Baron nodded, mumbling under his breath. "Good, good... That little girl would be happy to see you."

"Looks like you found your daughter?" Harry asked, catching the change in his expression.

The Baron grimaced, turning his head away. "That obvious, huh?"

"You might as well have written it on your face," Harry replied calmly. "She doesn't want to come back?"

The Baron grabbed his bottle again. "She doesn't see me as a fit father."

Harry flicked his wand.

The bottle flew out of the Baron's hand and landed on a bench outside the room. "You aren't a good father, that's true. But clearly, her mother isn't a good mother either. You should tell her the truth."

The Baron lost his composure, slamming his hand on the table as he stood up. "What do you know?"

"Your wife cheated. You turned to drink and violence. I know all of it," Harry said, his expression unreadable.

The Baron's face crumpled. He started pacing nervously. "It's already out there? Everyone knows?"

"Relax. No one knows," Harry shook his head. "But I'm a witcher."

The Baron seemed to relax just a little. "Bloody witchers... digging up secrets like a gaggle of old women."

"If you lay it all out in the open, you might have a chance at reconciliation," Harry said gently.

Hermione, listening intently, seemed to come to a realization. Perhaps Harry wasn't just talking about the Baron's family. Maybe he was referring to others as well—like Snape, or even Dumbledore.

The Baron didn't respond.

Harry stared at the man's head, his expression shifting slightly. He suddenly asked, "Do you need some hair-growth potion?"

"It works wonders. I guarantee you'll have thick, luscious hair."

Both Hermione and the Baron stared at him, dumbfounded.
