Three boys in blue jackets were walking together. Their eyes burned with anger as they talked with each other.

They still could not forget yesterday’s events, so hatred and fury filled their hearts.

"Do you have any good ideas to teach them a lesson?" Axel could not sleep well last night since Ren kept appearing in his dream.

Ren even grinned smugly, as if he was mocking him in both reality and his dream.

"Why don’t we take them down one by one?" Rian believed this was the best and easiest method to seek revenge.

"I don’t think it’s a good plan!" Vito disagreed.

Ren and the others were not stupid.

He believed they would realize everything after they beat their second member.

Axel turned to Vito. "Do you have a better idea?"

"I have Golem magic. How about we tr-"Vito stopped his words halfway when he caught sight of his friends. "Jax and Luka!"

Axel and Rian also rushed toward them.

When they were next to them, Rian immediately healed them with his healing magic.

A moment later, both Jax and Luka regained consciousness.

"What happened? Who did this to you?" Vito asked.

"It’s Virelia from the Aether Organization," Luka answered as he struggled to sit up.

"Yes. She was the one who hurt us." Jax chose not to reveal everything in detail.

"You two lost to a woman?" Axel’s voice was cold.

It was two versus one, yet they still lost the fight.

And what angered him the most was that they lost to a woman.

It was like his followers were nothing but useless weaklings.

"She has an innate illusion ability." Luka defended himself. "We fell into it before we realized what was happening."

"That’s right", Jax added. "We wouldn’t have lost if she hadn’t suddenly used her illusion skill."

"A loss is still a loss!" Axel was enraged by their excuse.

After all, she was a shifter.

It was normal for her to use innate abilities.

"Alright, Axel. Calm down." Rian stopped them from arguing. "Let’s just think of a way to seek revenge."

Axel turned to Vito and said, "You seemed to have an idea earlier. Tell me what it is."

"I have Golem magic, and I can synchronize myself with it." Vito began explaining his idea in detail.

Axel and the others grinned evilly as they listened to his plan. The more they heard, the bigger their smirk became.

They liked his idea so much because they could kill Virelia without having to step in.

"I also happened to buy the Transformation Mask last week. We can use it to lure her into our trap." Vito added.

"Great! Let’s carry out your idea now." Virelia beat him until he fell unconscious, so Jax wanted her dead as soon as possible.

Vito nodded before finally using his Golem magic. His Earth Golem was two meters tall with red eyes and huge hands.

After syncing with it, the Golem left the village by jumping the wooden wall. Several minutes later, Vito saw several magical beasts drinking water in the river.

"Found them!" Vito’s lips curled up into a smirk.

He then told Jax their location in detail before finally handing him the Transformation Mask.

"I know." Jax put on the mask and imagined Ren’s appearance.

In an instant, he became Ren.

When Jax was about to leave, Axel said, "Don’t mess up!"

"I won’t!" Jax replied.

He then left.

The moment Jax saw two of Virelia’s subordinates, his lips curled up into a smirk.

"Tomas, Milo..." Jax had heard the villagers call them before, so they knew their names.

Tomas and Milo instantly turned around.

"Ren?" They didn’t know he was Jax since his appearance and voice were the same as Ren’s.

"I have a small favor. Can you help me?" Jax asked.

"What is it?" Milo responded.

"Can you tell Virelia to meet me at the river south of the village?" Jax didn’t show any suspicious behavior, as if he were a good actor.

Tomas tilted his head in confusion. "Why don’t you tell her yourself?"

"I want to give her a surprise, so I think it’s better if I wait for her there." Jax made an excuse.

"I see." Tomas and Milo thought Ren was in love with Virelia and was trying to win her heart.

"When did you fall in love with her? Was it love at first sight? Or is it because she has a pretty face?" Tomas teased Jax with a playful smile.

"Is it because she has big breasts?" Milo joined in teasing him.

"A...ahaha." Jax smiled awkwardly.

He didn’t expect them to react like that.

Tomas tapped Jax’s shoulder and said, "Don’t worry. Leave it to us. We will ensure she will meet you there."

"Thank you." Jax laughed evilly in his mind. "Then, I will take my leave now."

"Don’t stay outside for too long!" Milo shouted. "Come back as soon as you have finished your business."

"Alright." Jax grinned the moment he turned away.

Once Jax disappeared into the distance, Milo and Tomas went to the training ground.

"Milo, Tomas, you two are five minutes late. Push up thirty tim-" before Virelia had finished her words, she was interrupted by Milo.

"Young leader, we are late because Ren asked for our help." Milo brought up Ren’s name to avoid punishment.

"Ren?" Virelia raised an eyebrow.

"Yes." Milo nodded. "Ren wants you to meet him at the river south of the village."

"He has prepared a surprise for you, Young Leader," Tomas added.

"River? Surprise?" Virelia was startled.

"Yes. So you must go meet him now." They pushed her forward together.

Once they were at the entrance gate, they smiled and gestured for her to meet Ren quickly.

"The river is a hundred and fifty meters to the south," Tomas shouted.

"Go back immediately after you two are done enjoying your time together." Milo added.

"What is she doing?" Cassandra, who was hiding in a tree, immediately followed Virelia.

"Why did he prepare a surprise outside the village?" Virelia still hadn’t suspected anything since her subordinates didn’t seem to be lying to her.
