"We want you to entertain us." Luka gave an honest answer without hesitation.

Julia walked backward as they got closer to her.

She kept warning them to stop harassing her, but they ignored her.

When Jax tried to hold her shoulder, her patience ran out. She grabbed his hand and slammed him to the ground.

A loud sound echoed in their ears.

Luka widened his eyes in disbelief while Jax was simmering with anger.

The moment he came to his senses, Luka roared angrily, "How dare you attack him!"

Jax rose to his feet and joined Luka in attacking her.

However, none of their attacks landed on her body.

As mages, they spent all their time learning magic and trying to master it, so they were not skilled in martial arts.

Even though they were full of openings, Julia didn’t attack them. She only blocked and dodged their strikes because Bernard’s exhausted expression suddenly appeared in her mind.

"We are from the Nexus Organization. She should be lucky to be chosen by us!" Luka still considered it an honor to have been chosen to serve them.

"Ah, right. I forgot you are from the Nexus Organization, a place full of scum." Virelia insulted both them and their faction at once.

Rage pulsed through their veins after hearing her words.

"What did you say?"

"I dare you to say that again."

Their faces were red from anger.

"Nexus Organization is a place full of disgusting people like you." Virelia was not afraid of them, so she repeated her words once more.

"I will kill you!" Both Jax and Luka lost control of themselves and decided to attack her.

Virelia told Julia to hide before finally facing them.

"Hmf! Do you think you can beat me just because you are ganging up on me?" Virelia spread her tail feathers to pull them into an illusion.

In an instant, their magic shattered before it could fully materialize, and they saw countless eyes staring at them.

Multiple images of her suddenly appeared before them, and they could not tell which one was the real her.

As they were feeling dizzy from the overwhelming visuals, Virelia rushed toward them to launch an attack.

She only punched their faces continuously.

The village still needed their power, so ending their lives was not a wise choice.
