A few hours after the grand finale of London’s largest treasure hunt,

“... Ugh”

Rachel Watson, the victor, lay sprawled on a cold floor. In a daze but oddly refreshed, she stood up and stretched with a yawn.

Only to freeze in the next second, a dazed look in her eyes.

Instead of the familiar ceiling of 221B Baker Street, she was looking at an opulent and lavish ceiling she had never seen before.

Adler was puzzled by her words for some time. Not for long though, as he soon produced some flames with magic before Watson. Still giving him a cold glare, Watson soon flicked a cigarette over the burning flames.

“... I had quit smoking after the surgery, fuck.”

Taking a deep drag of the nicotine, Watsoon soon started cursing out loud.

“Even the drug addict of a roommate was not able to break my non-smoking record... yet a fucking London bastard just came and broke it...”

“Um... it isn’t like Miss Watson was violated here, it was me, so why are you the one being angry...”

Easily crushing the timid jab Adler was throwing at her, she stretched her hand.

After a brief silence, Watson suddenly threw a question.

“... You really don’t remember, do you?”

As Adler failed to respond while gauging her reaction, her expression turned colder than the arctic wind.

“Forget it. I don’t know what I was expecting...”

Her face etched with disappointment, she rose from her seat.

“Let’s pretend today never happened, and take it to the grave. It’s better for both of us...”
