Overlord was so angry that he rolled around on the seat, paws in the air, exposing his belly and letting out an exaggerated, whimpering meow.

He first surveyed his surroundings, then raised his head, puffed out his chest, and let out a long, sonorous meow at the tranquil night sky, as if making a grand announcement.

The next moment, the villa’s half-open door swung open, and Xiaojiu emerged, walking with an elegant, feline grace. His amber eyes gleamed faintly in the dark as he glanced at the "silly cat" striking a pose by the door, the tip of his tail twitching slightly.

Hu Zi, Leopard, and Bai Wan came running out of the house as well.

Seeing Overlord after such a long time, all three dogs seemed quite happy, greeting him with low barks and wagging tails.

Overlord paid no mind to Xiaojiu’s indifference, happily trotting in after him as if he owned the place.

Yang Qi parked the car, went inside, and headed straight for the kitchen.

First, he washed a sufficient amount of Spirit Rice and put it in a pot to cook into porridge.

While the porridge was cooking, he went to the backyard and skillfully set up the Demon Extermination Array to accumulate contribution points.

After setting up the Array and coming back inside, he waited a few more minutes until the unique, fresh fragrance of Spirit Rice began to waft from the kitchen.

The porridge was ready.

Yang Qi ladled out the porridge, placing it in a well-ventilated spot to cool to the right temperature.

He took out their special food bowls and filled one to the brim for Xiaojiu, Bai Wan, Hu Zi, Leopard, and Overlord.
