"Miss, are you all right?" Qin Ya asked calmly, looking at Muu Xue’s face, now just inches from his own.

"Oh, I-I’m fine." Muu Xue quickly stood up straight, a faint blush coloring her cheeks as she spoke in a fluster.

Feng Ling walked over, shot Qin Ya an apologetic glance, and then tapped Muu Xue on the head. "Muu Xue, what has gotten into you lately? Why are you always so out of it?"

"Sigh... I’ve run into some problems with my research." Seeing her friend’s annoyed-but-worried expression, Muu Xue sighed and confessed the truth.

Then, she turned to Qin Ya gratefully. "Thank you so much, fellow student. If it weren’t for you, I would have taken a nasty fall."

"It’s nothing. Though, this is the first time I’ve ever seen a Ninth-Grade Spiritual Element Realm Martial Artist who can’t even walk without falling," Qin Ya remarked. It was true.
