“What?” Selthia asked softly.

The black-haired maid didn’t say anything; she just tilted her head slightly toward the unconscious naked Lia lying on the ground nearby—in a gesture telling her to carry her.

The black haired woman calmly continued walking toward the portal with Lucian in her arms as though none of it mattered.

And without looking back, she stepped into the shimmering portal.

But still, there was a slightly bored expression on her face.

‘Let’s watch something else…’ she thought casually, but just as she was about to shift her attention elsewhere—

She suddenly paused.

She immediately tried to look toward him again, but no matter how hard she tried—

After a certain distance from the ruined city, her eyes could no longer see any farther ahead.

As if an invisible barrier was surrounding the being from being spied upon by beings like her.

For several long seconds, she simply lay there, stunned.

Then gradually, the surprise on her face softened.

A seductive smile spread across her lips.

“Interesting…” she muttered softly to herself, licking her lips lightly while her eyes gleamed with curiosity.
