Then Lu Xia turned to the old butler. "Thank you for your trouble. Please show him around."

"Of course, Madam."

Lu Xia nodded, showing no intention of continuing the conversation, and followed Graces upstairs.

Smelian watched until Lu Xia’s figure disappeared up the stairs, his heart nowhere near as calm as his expression suggested.
