"I heard about all this from a guy in the War God Hall. As for which evil force it was, why they were so powerful, or their reasons for exterminating your Celestial Crocodile Race... I’m completely in the dark about that."

After crying for a while, Li Su wiped her tears, and her expression improved slightly.

She gave Shen Lang a deep look and said sorrowfully, "According to the secret records of my Celestial Crocodile Race, some of our people came to this little world an unknown number of years ago. But ten thousand years ago, our kin in the Demon Realm received a distress signal from them. A group of our people who had come to this Human Realm had been sealed by someone in this world who called himself the ’Blood Ancestor’..."

’The Blood Ancestor again! That old monster really is a lingering ghost!’ Shen Lang’s heart skipped a beat.

"But when my parents and kin came to this world ten thousand years ago, they made inquiries and learned that the Blood Ancestor had already been dead, or rather, had been missing for many years. This caused them to lose all leads in their investigation."

As the Master of War God Hall, the War Emperor certainly knew a great deal about the power of Upper Realm experts, but even he had never mentioned something so horrifying.

As for the Heaven-Devouring Beast, he had never even heard of it.

Li Su nodded with a grave expression. "From then on, only Martial Artists from the Lower Realm could ascend; Upper Realm Divine Demons could no longer descend through the Reverse Passage.
