However, they soon completely brushed the ridiculous thought right out of their minds, shaking their heads to clear the sudden confusion.
They quickly remembered that the world-famous S-rank genius Yeon Allistar possessed bright, iconic blonde hair, while this mysterious independent intruder currently flying through the air clearly had pitch-black hair.
Leon leaped confidently directly into the pulsating dungeon gate, his entire body vanishing completely into the thick, swirling orange entrance in the blink of an eye.
The space rippled slightly behind his back as the magical vortex swallowed him whole, leaving the fourteen guild players standing shocked and breathless on the ruined asphalt behind him.
The silence in the empty street lasted until one of the players suddenly pointed a trembling finger at the gate.
His jaw dropped completely open, and he shouted at the top of his lungs, "If my eyes are absolutely not playing tricks on me right now... then that person who just jumped in is Leon Allistar! He is Yeon’s twin brother!"
The eyes of every single player present on the battlefield instantly widened, their breath catching sharply in their throats as they processed the shocking declaration.
They stared at one another in pure bewilderment, finding what they had just heard incredibly hard to believe or accept as reality.
The specific name of Leon Allistar was well known by them all, but it was never spoken of with any shred of respect.
The Leon they had all heard of in the news and rumors was nothing but a pathetic, weak loser who had been disowned and kicked out by his family after awakening a completely useless, trash-tier F-rank talent during the awakening ceremony.
Yet, despite everything the public records claimed about that dynamic, they had all just personally witnessed this exact same mysterious person easily and effortlessly take down three formidable C-rank sabertooth tigers back-to-back without even breaking a single sweat.
Such an overwhelming, terrifying display of raw power simply didn’t match the pathetic description of a low-life loser who didn’t even have a good talent to his name.
The math simply wasn’t adding up in their heads, and the confusion was rapidly turning into a deep sense of panic among the ranks of both factions.
Before the crowd could descend into a full-blown argument about the Allistar family drama, a remarkably tall player from the Cross Block Guild suddenly stepped forward.
"Who that bastard actually is doesn’t matter to us right now! The only thing that matters is that we can’t let him steal the dungeon treasure away from us!" he shouted.
His loud, booming voice instantly snapped everyone back to reality, reminding them of the heavy competition and the immense rewards waiting at the core.
Meanwhile, Leon safely reappeared within the foreign environment of the dungeon itself.
The familiar, disorienting sensation of spatial teleportation washed over his body for a brief second before his vision finally cleared, revealing a dark, rocky cavern illuminated by a faint, eerie orange glow radiating from the walls.
He didn’t even have a moment to properly dust off his clothing or stretch his legs after the landing.
The first thing that appeared directly before his eyes was a formidable group of ten incredibly angry sabertooth tigers, their eyes glowing with a red light as they were already charging at full speed straight towards the newly active gate entrance.
The pack of striped beasts roared in unison, their massive claws tearing deep grooves into the hard stone floor of the cavern as they sought to shred the human intruder to pieces.
Leon, however, simply raised his eyebrows slightly beneath the shadow of his hood, his expression remaining completely cool, relaxed, and utterly amused by the sudden, overwhelming welcome party.
He gripped the invisible hilt of Excalibur tightly in his hand and said with a smooth, mocking chuckle, "Woah... you want to eat me that bad?"
The monsters born and living within a dungeon were usually completely corrupted by the erratic, wild mana that constantly saturated the enclosed atmosphere around them.
This dark, unstable corruption was even more severe and pronounced in high-tier dungeons ranked C-rank and above, where the ambient magical energy was incredibly dense and chaotic.
That severe mana corruption was the exact reason for their extremely aggressive, bloodthirsty nature, driving them into a state of perpetual madness.
It explained perfectly why whenever a new dungeon gate appeared in the human world, the monsters spilling out of the portal simply and mindlessly attacked whatever living being happened to be in their direct line of sight.
Leon looked at the pack of ten ferocious beasts charging down the rocky pathway toward him, his heart rate remaining entirely steady.
’This is actually the perfect time to test out its true power!’ he thought, his eyes shining with glee.
As the leading monster of the pack opened its massive jaws and was just about to fully reach him, Leon firmly planted his feet onto the stone floor.
He raised his weapon’s hilt high up into the air above his head, his voice booming as he commanded, "Unleash... Excalibur!"
The moment the command left his lips, the phantom mode of the weapon completely deactivated, and the legendary blade fully revealed its form to the world.
It burst into existence with a magnificent, blinding intensity, shining with a brilliant golden light that completely pushed back the dark shadows of the cavern and illuminated every single corner of the rocky walls.
As the blade fully awakened, a radical, supernatural transformation instantly took place over Leon’s physical body.
His short hair rapidly changed from its natural dark shade to a bright, radiant golden color starting directly from the center of his head, the vibrant color spreading outward like a wave until it suddenly stopped just at the very edges of his hairline.
This way, the majority of his hair was now a striking, brilliant golden color, except for the very tips and edges which remained completely pitch black.
The contrast gave him an incredibly striking, otherworldly appearance that radiated authority.
His eyes instantly lit up as well, losing their black color and glowing with a bright, intense golden hue that violently flickered with the elements of fire and crackling lightning.
At the exact same time, strange golden runes suddenly manifested and etched themselves onto the skin of his arms, his chest, and even down across his legs.
The inscriptions pulsed with immense power, shining so brightly that their golden glow clearly bled right through the fabric of his thick black hoodie and trousers.
The strange, glowing runes kept rapidly spreading across his skin like a creeping vine until they completely covered his entire body.
The intricate magical patterns flowed upward across his chest and shoulders, finally stopping only when they reached the base of his neck.
