The King of Slaughter descended from the sky, gazing down upon his empire of slaughter. The weight that had been pressing on his heart finally eased.

After the Poison Demon King’s arrival, through a series of schemes, a Titled Douluo from the Clear Sky Sect had perished, and Bibi Dong had been severely wounded, losing her Divine Power.

For at least several years, Slaughter City would face no threats.

Tang San hasn’t fully matured yet, but Bibi Dong has actually cultivated Divine Power. Her strength has reached the pinnacle of the continent - no one can kill her. I’m deeply concerned about the future!"

His real worry was that Bibi Dong might achieve godhood.

They eventually reached the room where they had first met.

The room was dark and spacious.

Behind the King of Slaughter’s chair was a wall of dark red crystal.

The King of Slaughter sat directly on the chair and waved his right hand.

The entire dark red wall turned blood-red—it was actually connected to the Blood Pool.

"Poison Demon King, in all of Slaughter City, only my room is connected to the Blood Pool. You may cultivate here!"

The energy in the Blood Pool was limitless, and the King of Slaughter did not believe Dugu Feng could absorb much of it.

Dugu Feng was overjoyed.

He cupped his hands toward the King of Slaughter and approached the edge of the Blood Pool.

The energy of the Blood Pool was scorching and potent.

Fine mist drifted above the pool, making it resemble boiling magma.

Dugu Feng sat down cross-legged and began guiding the mist from the Blood Pool into his body.

He closed his eyes, and images of mountains of corpses and seas of blood appeared in his mind.

The Blood Pool was formed from the blood contributed by the fallen.

This blood contained evil energy and mental toxins, which should not exist in normal blood.

The evil energy was a contaminating force left by the Rakshasa God to counter the Asura God, intended to taint the Killing Intent of Slaughter City and cause its cultivators to gradually sink into depravity.

The Blood Pool left by the Asura God was originally meant for his successor.

As Dugu Feng pondered, he carefully sensed the threads of blood entering his body.

His Overlord Venom and mental toxins stripped away the evil energy, leaving only pure blood energy to merge into his body.

As soon as this blood energy integrated, the Asura Power surged toward it.

His Asura Power, the strength of the Asura Domain, had already merged into his blood after leaving the Scorpion Pincer External Spirit Bone.

Now, sensing the pure blood in the Blood Pool, it reacted as if meeting a long-lost relative, brimming with excitement.

Dugu Feng instantly understood.

The Blood Pool left by the Asura God was for the cultivation of his successor.

Asura Power originates from bloodline, and the Blood Pool was meant to enhance the Asura Bloodline.

But since the Blood Pool was tainted by evil energy and mental toxins, no successor could draw energy from it.

The Blood Pool had become a home for bats.

These bloodsuckers parasitized the space above the pool.

Yet Dugu Feng alone could extract pure blood from this Blood Pool.

Dugu Feng felt reassured.

After his Slaughter God Domain evolved into the Asura Domain and merged with his blood, he had a premonition that the Blood Pool in Slaughter City would be useful.

Now, it was finally confirmed.

"Since that’s the case, I won’t hold back. Absorbing pure blood to evolve my Asura Bloodline will surely allow my Asura Domain to cultivate rapidly!"

After a moment of contemplation, he spoke to the King of Slaughter behind him.

"It seems I’ll be troubling you here for a while!"

The King of Slaughter nodded, indicating he had no objections.

"Poison Demon King, cultivate here in peace. I will inform you of any news from the outside."

The King of Slaughter even vacated the room, leaving it for Dugu Feng to cultivate.

He moved to the adjacent mansion.

There, the King of Slaughter’s seductive concubine and his subordinate Xiong Ba were waiting.
