Reincarnated with a God of Death System

_How is the monster faster than before, why is it faster than before?_

He pondered as he tried to pull himself out of the crater, his eyes wandered and met Ryu. She was still standing still, she pointed her arms towards him but Bell immediately yelled at her.

"Don’t heal me, save your energy!"

She stopped, her body still shattered with fear. She could sense him in danger but didn’t understand why he wouldn’t want to be healed.

Before Bell realized it, the ogre was already in front of him and stuck his machete at Bell with a thrust but Bell pulled himself out of the wall ducked, avoiding the attack.

The ogre machete got stuck in the wall and it struggled to pull it out while the rest ogres laughed at it. Bell used this opportunity to slice open his stomach, making the ogre leave it’s weapon and covered the injury with its hand instead.

Bell rushed at it again and the ogre swung its leg at him instead, he slid on the ground, avoiding the ogre attack.

But before he could stand, the ogre stumped on the ground but Bell luckily rolled on the ground and jumped up. The monsters tried to attack with it’s hand instead but Bell moved to his right side and forced his dagger through the ogre’s arm, cutting it off his body.

The ogre roared in pain while ran to its back and sliced its knee from behind, making the monster fall to his knees and he forced his dagger into the monster chest from behind. The monsters roared into pain but Bell kept stabbing again and again and the same as the first ogre, he grabbed the object inside it and pulled it out.

The ogre’s blood splattered on Bell as it fell to the ground, it rushing out of its body and staining the ground. It stayed that way for a while before it vanished, just like the other monsters he had kill before.

He turned to the other orge, feeling like he had proved himself. But the ogres were still laughing, even though their mate just died in front of them. To them, he was pathetic because he couldn’t even pull his own weapon out of the wall and even though he was stronger, he still lost to a wimpy human. Nothing but pathetic.

Bell pointed his dagger at the next ogre who laughed as it stood up. Bell walked to Ryu and collected a health potion and drank it, leaving four health potion. He [dash] skill had already expired, so he had to wait for one minute.

But for the next ogre, he didn’t want to rely on speed since he knew they were equal to him if not faster. Instead, he looked at the system window, checking which skill will benefit him in the fight.

[Player has a five percent chance of dodging an unexpected or deadly attack. Cost 10 MP. No cooldown]

[All experience point gain by player will be multiply by the number of party members]

[Skill: Rage(active)]

[Increase all player’s stats by 9. Cost 20 MP. Cooldown: 10 minutes]

[Skill: Stealth(active)]

[Player can hide his scent and sound as long as he’s out of sight for 15 seconds. Cost 20 MP. Cooldown: 5 minutes]

[Skill: Absorp(active)]

[Player can absorb the soul of fallen allies or foes and summon them in battle or use their best skill. Cost: 100MP, no cooldown]

[Stealth] seemed like a good skill to try out now but he has to be out of sight first and with the ogre eyes all fixed on him, it was clear it was a bad idea. [Rage] was good but he wanted to save it till he fought the boss monster or when he’s being overpowered, which means he won’t use it now.

He just have to outsmart the orge as he stall till he’s able to use [dash] again, but it would be harder to keep up with their speed.

Unlike the first ogre, the second one dashed at him, giving Bell little time to react and before he knew it, the ogre fist had connected with his chest and launched him into the air.

Bell spun midair, trying to balance himself but the ogre rushed him with a sideway slash, loosely cutting his stomach open as he fell to the ground. A magic circle immediately appeared beneath him and healed up the wound, he knew he had told Ryu not to heal him but he was glad she still did.

Without letting him catch his breath, the ogre raised its machete and brought it down directly at Bell but he spun on the ground before jumping on his feet. The ogre quickly swung his weapon at Bell but missed as Bell jumped, using the machete for footing and jumped on the ogre head and stabbed it eye.

The ogre roared as it eye began to bleed and it immediately went into frenzy, Bell jumped off the monster to avoid being thrown away and landed in front of his sister.

"Thanks" he whispered without looking at his sister.

"Hmm..." Ryu nodded with a serious look on her face, somewhat confidence if Bell guessed right.

The ogre continues to bleed from its eye as he picked up it’s machete with its left hand still covering it’s eye, Bell dashed toward it and cut its fingers and then slashed through its stomach.

The ogre roared again but this time, it was weakly. It tried to stand its ground but with the bleeding enchantment on Bell’s dagger, it was losing too much blood and soon, it fell to the ground just like the first ogre. Spilling it blood on the ground and anything close to it as it died and soon it disappeared, leaving no evidence that it was once alive.

The other two ogre now looked surprised, somewhat scared as Bell turned to them.
