Thara continued.

Will looked more outraged with every passing second.

The drow nodded.

"Yes."

"YOU WERE RUINING MY EXPERIMENTS!"

The fury was immediate.

The black bird screeched, its feathers standing on end.

And Will raised a hand.

A ring glowed.

A sphere of fire appeared above his palm.

The fireball shot forward.

"And I also heard about someone with fire resistance."

Max remained silent.

Will’s smile disappeared.

"Now I understand."

Max frowned.

Will tightened his grip on the laser pistol.

The wind itself seemed to stop.

"You are the ones responsible."

Seraphine raised an eyebrow.

His voice dripped with hatred.

"I can recognize you now."
