Inside a large building that towered like a castle, with thick stone walls and tall spires that stretched high into the sky, a loud guttural cry could be heard.

A woman was giving birth.

She wailed so loud the midwives feared the windows might shatter, but they encouraged her regardless.

"Push, Lady Ironfell! Just a little more!"

She pushed until finally her baby emerged.

A beautiful child possessing snow white hair, a faint glow radiated from its tiny body, illuminating the chamber with a soft blue light.

The midwives froze, until..

"It’s a boy!" One of the midwives exclaimed.

The others rejoiced as though they had seen something that never existed before.

"Give me my son," Lady Ironfell said with outstretched arms, immediately casting cleaning magic on the infant, cleansing him of all impurities as she held him softly against her bosom.

"His name will be Jacob... Jacob Ironfell, the first son of the Ironfell family, he will grow stronger than all that came before him," she said before planting a kiss on the baby’s forehead.

It was then the child opened a set of bright blue eyes, Jacob’s consciousness stirred inside the tiny body.

’Where... am I?’ he thought, starting at the beautiful woman in front of him. Fragments of memory suddenly rushed through his mind; the rain, the bandits, the train, and finally...The Regulator.

His expression was suddenly that of surprise, making the woman chuckle, "I think he’s excited," she said.

’Did I actually reincarnate?’ Jacob mused again, unable to utter any words as much as he tried, he looked around, after seeing the size and quality of the chamber he was born in, he was satisfied, his new family was rich!

’It’s real... all of it is real, lets see, surely I must have a system.’

On the other side of the castle in a large study sat a middle aged man, going through a book on his desk, he was about 7 foot, with white hair flowing down to his shoulders and a full white beard, his crystal blue eyes were laser focused on the words spilled across the pages of the book.

"Come in," Lord Ironfall bellowed.

A small but good looking woman wearing a maid outfit entered the room, curtsying and waiting for the lord to speak.

"Tell me," the man spoke again, softer this time, beckoning on the servant to come closer.

"Good news my Lord, the Lady has just given birth to a bouncing baby boy. He looks just like you my Lord." The servant spoke.

The man paused, his aura suddenly filled the room as he towered over the small woman, a wide grin playing on his lips.

"Bring my wife and son to me immediately! There will be a feast tonight." The man laughed, "Finally... my son, the heir of Ironfell!"

The servant scurried out immediately to relay the information.

There was a grand celebration that night to welcome the newest member of the Ironfell clan.

Time passed by quickly, and the boy was five, he awoke from a deep slumber, stepped out of his bed to stand in front of the mirror for his usual self-praise session.

"I’m so freaking handsome, talented, and born into a powerful family, if this isn’t peak protagonist life, then I don’t know what is" Jacob said as he rubbed his chin and flexed his muscles, his hair flowed down to his shoulders, it had never been cut, and his eyes glistened, like crystals.

Every member of the Ironfell family was assigned a servant at birth, as far as Jacob could tell, the Ironfell were the most powerful family in the entire continent, politically, physically, and in cultivation.

"Your breakfast, young master," a voice echoed in the very spacious room, it was Xenia, Jacob’s personal servant, she was a small woman with long red hair and voluptuous features, she wore her maid uniform and set down a platter for him.

As soon as he began to eat, a constant thought plagued him, he still hadn’t been able to cultivate or unlock his physique, he thought about his awakening, it was a ceremony everyone underwent at the age of ten, one that would determine your rank and strength, in Daven Heaven Continent the ranks ranged from F to SSS+, he would have to wait to find out what rank he was.

He stared at it for a couple minutes, he remembered asking for every cheat possible, he hoped he wasn’t scammed, but he kept eating regardless.

When he was done, Xenia carefully walked in with practiced grace and cleared his platter.

"Xenia."

"Yes young master," she responded, looking at him with a smile on her face.

"I want to learn more about this world."

"The young master can visit the library at his convenience."

"The library can’t teach me anything I don’t know, I want to experience it for myself." He said with a serious expression, looking out of the window, at the soldiers who were training in the courtyard, he had watched them for years, completely marveled at their dexterity and strength, he hoped he would be like them someday.

"In due time, young master, this world is your footstool." She replied with a chuckle.

He gestured for her to carry on with her duties and watched as she left the room.
