Reborn In A Cultivation World With All Cheat Abilities

Jacob sat upright in his room, looking out onto the training ground for the millionth time, to anyone, he would look like an ordinary child, amazed by the sword skills of the clan soldiers.

But Jacob had other plans in mind, the entire time he had been using Infinite Comprehension to download and refine all the skills and techniques he deemed worthy.

The system panel hovered directly in front of him, a holographic purple panel that only he could see.

Just as the skills were almost done refining, there was a knock on the door; judging by the weight and number of knocks, it could only be one person.

"Good morning, young master." Xenia smiled as she gracefully entered the room.

"What’s on the roster today?" Jacob asked, barely acknowledging her greeting.

"Today we will be having an important visitor."

"A visitor?"

"Yes young master, your grandfather has requested for a meeting with the Sect leader of the Flying Macabre, Savant Hardin." Xenia informed him as she slowly changed his sheets and organized his room, her eyes lingering on him more than once as he stood by the window, still gazing out onto the training arena.

"What for?" He asked.

"I’m afraid I don’t know, but I have a feeling it concerns you."

"..." Jacob remained silent, for as long as he had been in this world, the politics hadn’t concerned him, but now it seemed like he was going to be involved, in one way or another. He hated it, or more accurately, he hated how good he was at it.

He had trained every day for the past 5 days, sparring twice with Xenia and losing both sparring sessions; he had also grown significantly since then.

He stared at it for well over a minute, and then a thought crossed his mind.

"I’ve been cultivating for the past five days and I’m still on Mid Earth Realm, why?"

Jacob paused for a bit, ’Hmm, fast growth for now, I’ll deal with any consequences later.’ He thought to himself.

"Patriarch! Your visitor has arrived." A servant walked into the room as he informed Alaric of Savant’s arrival.

"Good, take him to my study, I will be there shortly." Alaric’s voice boomed as he commanded the servant, he had a magnifying glass in one hand and a precious stone in the other, it was one of the things he liked to do in his free time, collect and carefully study precious rocks.

Savant Hardin sat in Alaric’s study, clad in his usual armor, silver with blue and red edges, the Flying Macabre crest embedded in the breast plate, a crowned skull suspended between two massive wings, each feather intricately detailed like sharpened blades, it signaled destruction no matter how much one looked at it.

He tapped his finger on the handle of the chair for a while, and then when he grew bored of the tapping sound, he stood up and walked towards the stacked bookshelf, running his fingers through the century year old journals and grimoires, until...

"Good to see you old friend." Alaric strode into the room, a forced smile plastered across his face and his hands spread out in dominance.

"I was starting to wonder when you’d show up, Patriarch." Savant responded, unmoved by the man’s presence.

"To what do I owe the honor?" He continued.

Alaric was already in his seat by now, his expression more serious, "You know why we are here, how dare you make such demands of the clan, you want us to give the boy to you? Why?"

Savant rushed to sit before him, "Because we will make better use of his abilities you see, word of his awakening has reached the far ends of the continent, and if the rumors are true, then we can take him and turn him into the most formidable warrior that this world has ever seen."

Alaric narrowed his eyes, and studied the man for a bit, then he spoke; "Savant, you know I have my principles, and we must follow the law, the boy will remain under Ironfell protection until he is old enough to make that decision for himself."

"I don’t think you understand what’s at stake, we are not the only ones who desire this, and others might not be as nice."

"Let them come, we will handle them as we see fit."

The dialogue went on, both sides getting increasingly frantic, but unbeknownst to them, the boy stood outside the room, listening in on their conversation.

’It’s as serious as I thought,’ Jacob mused, scratching his head as his mind raced.

’I’m gonna have to do something, and quickly, I know joining a sect is a good chance to explore the world but I need to be sure I have everything I need first.’

After a moment of thought, he decided on what he was going to do, and without knocking, he swung the door open.
