Reborn as the Dragon King's Son-In-Law

The evening passed. Lucius, Ariel, Heilde, Shelia, Tifa, and Tina had returned from their journey to deal with the problems within the empire. Moreover, Lucius’s expression, which had previously appeared calm, could not hide his tiredness.

The chaos that had occurred in the empire earlier was purely the empire’s own fault. They were also the reason why the Dragon King’s future son-in-law lost control of his power. Even though everyone in the stands witnessed the events that occurred in the arena, they were not foolish enough to think that the Dragon King’s future son-in-law was the reason why most of the empire had suffered destruction.

However, the news about how a human managed to disrupt an event that had been agreed upon by both parties had spread to all corners of the world. For some reason, most species throughout the world considered that human man to be powerful and incredibly terrifying.

There were many people throughout the world who believed that the Human race was the strongest. However, only a small portion of them thought that they were no different from that extraordinary human man. On the contrary, almost every human considered Lucien to be a promising young man.

Because Lucien’s current position was that of the future son-in-law of Dragon King Lucius, the humans could do nothing to distance Lucien from the Dragon race. On the other hand, humans would not dare disturb the peace of the Dragon Realm just to win back an extremely talented individual like Lucien.

Even though humans considered Lucien to be one of their own, not everyone believed that Lucien would completely side with the Human race. Now that Lucien was part of the Lucifer family, the human side could not snatch him back from the clutches of the Lucifer family.

Of course, some humans felt jealous of the life Lucien led in the Dragon Realm. Moreover, every noble of the Human race couldn’t hide their disgust when they learned of Lucien’s origins. Like every noble family on the Life Continent, they would never consider Lucien a human worthy of standing above the nobility.

Since ancient times, status had been the most important thing for every living being throughout the world. Having a low status in the world was no different from being treated as trash for the rest of one’s life. However, those born with a high status would be able to live comfortably and enjoy luxurious access to all existing knowledge.

"Where is your mother? She should have returned with Athena and the others. Is it possible that she has returned to her nest?" A large part of Lucius’s thoughts assumed that Lilith had returned to her nest to rest. Even though Lucius knew what had really happened to Lilith during her fight against the Dragon Emperor, he would not ask further about the anger Lilith had shown after returning from that battle.

The attitude shown by Lilith throughout their marriage and life together had only been a formality within the family. Lilith had many responsibilities since the day she and Lucius first married. However, the marriage between Lilith and Lucius was a marriage forced by Lilith herself.

Lucius had never intended to make Lilith his wife. But still, Lilith was one of the strongest beings in the entire world. Rejecting Lilith’s desire to marry him was no different from throwing away his life.

The youngest daughter of Lilith and Lucius was Ariel. She was the last daughter born from Lilith’s womb. Since then, both Lilith and Lucius had decided not to have any more children or even engage in intimate relations.

This was something Lucius had understood since he and Lilith had their daughter Athena. That was the first time Lucius felt extraordinary happiness when he witnessed the birth of his first daughter. As a father, Lucius loved each of his daughters more than anyone else.

"I don’t know. I think what Father said is true. Mother seems to have returned to her nest. We must not disturb Mother’s sleep."

A sigh escaped from Lucius’s mouth when he heard Ariel’s answer. For now, Lucius’s task was to prepare a speech for the citizens of the Dragonia Kingdom regarding the victory of their princess’s future husband. To Lucius, announcing Lucien’s victory over Charles was news that could increase the pride of every citizen of the Dragonia Kingdom.

"You two little girls from the Elven race should immediately make every preparation needed by the two married couples for their first night."

Both Tifa’s and Tina’s cheeks involuntarily turned red when they heard Lucius’s orders. As women in their twenties, they naturally understood the meaning behind Lucius’s words regarding the two couples spending their first night together.

Having sex was a common thing for every living being throughout the world. Even though Tifa and Tina were embarrassed and reluctant to provide assistance to their master, they absolutely could not ignore the orders given by Lucius to make the necessary preparations.

In a nest located within another dimension of the Dragon Realm, Lilith could be seen dreaming in her nest filled with green grass. The small world in which Lilith currently lived was a world she had created with her own hands.

Within that small world, Lilith could freely release her true form whenever she wished. Therefore, this was also the reason why Lilith never left her little world in her true form.

One of the reasons why Lilith did not reveal her true form was because her power had exceeded the limits of the world’s system and reached its threshold. Activating her true form when her power surpassed that of all living beings was no different from bringing chaos to the entire world. Neither Lilith, the Dragon Emperor, nor the other powerful beings would dare unleash their full power, which could destroy the balance and order of the world.
