Reborn as the Dragon King's Son-In-Law

One month has passed since I managed to familiarize myself with the physical training that Elize gave me. I am now starting to prepare to cast ice magic through the training that Elize gave me previously. Every time I try to cast ice magic, I feel the mana in my body start to be focused on the air around me.

Even when I try to stretch my palm out in front of me, the mana within me begins to surround the entire contents of that palm. The cold air begins to spread and reach the entirety of my palm. But it doesn’t hurt me.

I take a deep breath. A slight feeling of awe begins to sweep through my heart. After one month of training from Elize, this is the first time I have cast magic like the ice element in my entire life.

My face continuously shows a wide smile. Elize’s current plan is to prepare to design a schedule for my next training. One of those training sessions is to allow me to train my magic skills to a level that is much higher than any young dragon in this world.

It doesn’t scare me anymore, the training that Elize will give me. Every time I complete training with Elize, I can quickly recover from the wounds all over my body.

My adaptation to the training given by Elize previously has reached its peak. It has even improved my physical fitness to a point far beyond my previous self. Even I admit that the improvement of my current body is comparable to when I activate my Dragonoid Transformation.

The moment I am fully immersed in my training, I hear the sound of an explosion outside the boundary of the barrier. Suddenly, Elize’s expression shows a dark face. Closing her eyes, a giant eye with a crystal-shaped pupil appears above the barrier.

"Son of the Skylord Family, why are you invading my territory?"

The figures of a young man and two elderly bodyguards are seen standing near the border of the barrier. The young man’s expression reveals a smug look. The two men’s sharp gazes begin to focus on the giant eye above the barrier. Ignoring Elize’s warning, the young man says, "Miss Elize, I came here to beg you to take me as your disciple. This was also my father’s request."

A small snort comes out of Elize. Unable to hold back her anger, the sky above the clouds begins to turn cloudy and fills with shining lightning.

Rumbling!—

The bolts of lightning begin to focus on the young man and his two bodyguards. The expressions of the two bodyguards show their wariness. As the young man’s bodyguards, their job is to protect him.

"Protect Young Master! Don’t let the lightning strike him!"

The young man’s face does not change. Instead of being afraid of the changes taking place in the sky, the young man decides to bow before the giant eye.

"Miss Elize, I heard that you took a man as your disciple. If that person can do it, why can’t I do it? I want to be your disciple too!"

"Do you think you are worthy? You are not worthy of my training at all! Get out of this place right now!" Elize’s voice is like thunder striking the ears of the young man and his two guards. The three people start to fall from their places. The pressure released by Elize makes the three people unable to suppress the despair on their faces.

Gritting his teeth, the young man, without hesitation, releases all his strength and displays his half-dragon transformation in front of Elize. After activating his half-dragon form, the young man’s combat strength begins to increase rapidly compared to before.

"Ugh... Are you saying I’m not worthy? I’ve even reached the Great Dragon stage! Are you still looking down on me?! I’ll make you acknowledge me as your disciple!"

No answer comes from Elize. Turning back to the side inside the barrier, a sigh escapes her mouth. After witnessing the young man’s progress today, Elize realizes that he has tried much harder than the last time he came to visit this place.

Elize’s mind is now completely lost in doubt. If she accepts the young man as her disciple, it would give her a high status in the residence of the Skylord family. But Elize doesn’t want that.

For some reason, Elize’s gaze now begins to focus on me. The expression on my face shows calmness. As if realizing Elize’s intentions, I decide to stop my training in casting ice magic for the time being.

"I know what Master wants. What if I go and teach that man a lesson?"

"But are you sure? You’ve only just reached the High Dragon stage. What if you lose?"

A small laugh involuntarily comes out of my mouth. The worried expression shown by Elize makes me unable to hold back the gentle smile on my face. Without paying attention to Elize’s further words, I decide to jump out of the barrier.
